I'm Starting Terrelle Pryor over_______________ (1 Viewer)

Starting Ridley put me in the hole. Now i feel like i need to hit a home run and Pryor could be that home run. Starting over Luck.

Matt Ryan in one league and in another Colin kaepernick (after the seahawks shut down can newton I'm afraid to start him this week and Pryor is playing the worst team inthe NFL)

I am starting Terrelle Pryor (H vs JAX) over Russell Wilson (H vs SF)

I think Pryor has more upside because of the matchup and the extra two points a Pryor rushing TD would give me - I expect the 49ers to be jacked up to slow the Seahawks offense to a crawl - and some Hauschka field goals

Picked him up off waivers and I'm starting him over Bradford. Keeper league and I was short a 1st Round pick. Draft got away from me as guys started taking backups before I even had my starter. Ended up with Bradford and Big Ben.

Gotta be honest... I'm pretty surprised to see people willing to start Pryor over guys like Matt Ryan and Kaepernick.

Not sure I'm quite THAT high on his Week 2 prospects... but I hope I'm wrong.

He has a way better arm and is faster than Tebow who put up 20 points or more quite often when he started.

See my post above. The Seahawks didn't shut Cam down. Receivers were open and he missed some wide open guys. He was still 16-23, but they (the coaches) were really throttling back the passing game. It didn't remind me of the gunslinger Cam who has had huge games before, it reminded me of a defense playing solid we have the lead until the 4th quarter when a huge fumble 6 yards kept us from going up 14-6 with a few minutes left type of conservative game plan. The Panthers were trying not to lose, so Cam didn't even try a lot of long passes and the one I remember should have been an easy 30+ yard TD to LaFell that Cam overthrew. LaFell walks into the end zone if he makes a good pass. He throws that one good pass and he is 17-23 (74%) for 160 (7 YPA) and 1 TD. That isn't domination by a D, that is effective passing, but very low attempts.

I am going with Pryor over Romo in a scoring system slanted towards running QBs, but I can't pull the trigger over Kaep. I think he will do fine and score well. Pryor may outdo him, but I watched Kaep last week and he looked really good.

Right now over Matt Ryan. I feel dirty for doing it though
I'm leaning this way myself. I expected a lot more last week and he didn't deliver without a healthy Roddy White.
Captain pushoff wouldn't have made that much difference in his numbers. Roddy is just an excuse maker. You would never see Colston making these types of excuses as many times as he has had to play hurt.

Hook, I'm in the same boat. Right now I have Pryor in for Wilson. Really is about strength of opposition this week. The SF-SEA game could go a bunch of different ways, could see both QBs putting up big points, but can also easily see this being a low-scoring defensive dual. If the game was in SF, it would be a much easier call to go with Pryor. The only thing making me wonder if we're over-thinking is the Seattle home field factor. Wilson was really dazzling at home last year and he exudes big-game confidence and ability. It seems strange to say about a QB making his 3rd career start, but Pryor feels like a safer play with higher floor this week. Jags are awful under best conditions, flying them across the country and exposing them to a rejuvenated black hole fanbase just feels like a recipe for big Pryor success. Perhaps the biggest fear with Pryor this week, is that he doesn't factor into any TDs. As much as we like Pryor, McFadden has to be licking his chops. Remember, D-Mac is playing for money this year, and he won't have a better opportunity all season to uncork than this week. I'm playing McFadden, and I'm worried he goes off for 3 rush TDs and Raiders win 27-13 kinda thing. Lynch will be a big factor against SF, but you have to figure if the Seahawks are going to win that game, it will come down to Wilson's legs and arm. So, I'm starting Pryor as of now. But depending on how the 1pm games go, I could talk myself back into putting Wilson in. It does seem like the Pryor-Wilson axis this week is a popular one.

over Bradford and Dalton as of now. Caveat is that TDs are 6 pts instead of 4 which is a little better for Bradford/Dalton IMO.

I told my son to start pryor over Kapernick. High risk.reward. Playing the matchup..I think they will be close otherwise we woud have left Pryor on the bench

Over Rivers & Big Ben. In Pryor we trust.

That's not much of a stretch, and what I get for being the last to draft a qb in a 14 team league.

heavily Debating Between Pryor And Romo, Need Help. I Face Dez If That Matters. Just Don't Like Romo Playing In Arrowhead, Tough Place To Play.

Tony Romo

I feel the deep threat for Dallas will be limited with Romo's ribs so to me, it's worth rolling the dice on Pryor considering the decent matchup and his ability to run.

Sitting Romo because he's dinged. I doubt he has this huge day in Arrowhead, seems like a good spot to sit him and see if Pryor is for real as a fantasy Qb.

He wasn't bad today. The problem was that Jacksonville is terrible and can't score. Once oak got up they went very conservative and run heavy with the play calling. Pryor's better statistical outings will come when he is in more competitive games or when he is playing catch up. That's when Dennis Allen will have no choice but to open up the Playbook.

Pryor over Matt Ryan was a bad choice today lol.

That said, speaking real life, Pryor has injected life into this raiders team and could end up being their qb for now and the future.

Yep.

Depending on what Dalton does tomorrow night, I plan on continuing to roll with Pryor. His low stat line is more about Oakland being in control of the game from the get go and him not having to make anything happen but put the ball in DMAC's belly. I think Pryor will shine vs teams that are better than Oakland, and that's a lot of teams.

Should've known... looks like the template for games when Pryor is an option to start is when the Raiders will be forced to keep up, not when they can beat up on bad teams. He didn't need to do much for them to win yesterday. Next week against the Broncos, they might be down 21-0 by the end of the 1st quarter.

So Pryor is better to insert in bad matchups than good match ups? I think I will stash him on my bench a while before releasing him into the great beyond of waiversville. Maybe he is still a salvageable pickup.

We haven't seen him in a bad matchup yet. The Colts were average and the Jags were great. I think what you want is him against a high scoring team with an average or worse defense - like the Broncos next week.

Happy to have him as my backup behind Drew Brees in my dynasty. If he has a good game during Drew's bye, I'll be happy. Meanwhile, I can probably get some value out of him if someone elses QB goes down.

Pryor was 2 yards away from a rushing TD against the Jags resulting in a decent game.

I'm actually liking his matchup against Denver this week. Lots of garbage time passing yards plus his normal 50 plus on the ground.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to start Pryor over Luck this week. The Raiders will be playing catch-up to Denver so I expect Pryor to do better than he did last week against Jacksonville, and I really don't like Luck's matchup against SF.

I'm thinking about it.

Which should lead to a minimum of three picks. Dude is Tebow with less divine intervention.

Week 3 version

Peyton Manning

Terrelle is young and quick and Peyton is old and slow.

He has more tattoos

FF gold. Thank me now when you win your league.
