Real Money

Available Balance $1,121.73

your specialty is heads up SNG's.Play $500 heads up matches with the rest of the money and you'll be back to 5k within a few hours.

I BELIEVE IN OTIS
I'd be shocked if there was any $ cashed out from this ordeal. In this bad, bad place that Otis is in, money becomes meaningless and you treat it like a chip stack in a tourney - playing until it's gone. So I've heard.... Please prove me wrong Otis. $1100 is still a lot of skrilla - cash it out.

So.... hard... to get out....Seriously. I had put in a $4000 withdrawal request. Of course, they don't process it for 48 hours, which is more than enough time for me to squander the rest, and that "CANCEL" button is just so big and inviting.

By the way, the site is Bugsy's Club. Everyone steer clear. It is the devil's source code.

Good job cashing out :moneybag: Now stick to it. Have a GB change the password or something if you need to. I have been tempted by that effing Cancel button more times than I care to remember. You had a nice run - reap the benefits!

UPDATE

After donking off all $7,000 in a period of days, I realized that they gave me a $250 bonus for placing high in their weekly ring league... the result. $250. Just about my initial buy-in, sitting there in my account.

So I get my best kung-fu grip going, start rocking the tables again, and here I am sitting on almost $2500.

UPDATE

I'm not quite sure where to begin here.

So last night I'm sitting at 2/4NL with a stack of approximately $1400, which I'd built from a $400 starting stack. The world was Chuck's oyster. Things were good. I'm playing heads-up at this point because the table emptied out. Dealt KT preflop, so I go for my usual pot-sized raise.

Here's where things turn...

The design of the interface at Bugsy's Club is about the most awful thing ever. Not only is there an "all in" button (which many sites don't have -- usually you have to manipulate a slider, or do two clicks, or something more than a mere click), but it is placed -- literally -- millimeters from the standard betting buttons. So after thousands of hands, I slide my cursor down to bet the pot but, it being late, fatigue setting in, and the buttons being WAY too close, I end up hitting the all-in button. There is about $6 in the pot. I just bet $1400 into it...

Now, I've seen this happen before at Bugsy's. Usually everyone knows it's just a misclick but still folds around because it's stupid to risk your whole stack. However, at this particular moment, the guy sitting across from me, who has me covered, is dealt pocket aces and calls.

Not only did I lose that $1400, but it sent me into a half-drunken blind raging tilt that caused me to squander the other $2k in my bankroll and break my macbook and a chair. I'm surveying the damage this morning and it's not pretty. I'm out my full bankroll on this site, I'm out a macbook (that little apple screen just repeatedly pops up at startup and I can't get past it), and I need some Elmer's glue to fix this chair.

I've got an e-mail in to support blaming them for it. Let's see what they'll do for me....

:lmao:

Dare I say, "oof?"P.S. - I faxed you some Elmers for the chair GB. Hope that helps.

I'm confident I will be refunded my money and will thereafter continue taking everyone else's money. I'm considering putting a piece of masking tape over the part of the screen with the all-in button.

Step away from the poker.

Did you get a response to the email you sent?
Yes, I received the following the next day:
Hi [Otis]I'm Charlie the Support Manager and your query was passed to me for attention. First of all let me say I am very sorry to hear about this. I looked up your hands and found the one in question:Hand Number: 518,532,725Table Number: 7,266,581Event Name: Gold League Table Gagilano (6 max no all-ins) (#4584867)I am forwarding the details with your email to Brian the Cardroom Manager for his consideration, which may take a few days. From your description it appears you use mouse clicks exclusively to make your betting actions. Do you know you can also use keyboard shortcuts? Personally I find this method much simpler, quicker, less tiring and less prone to error and is one of the features I appreciate about BugsysClub. What you do is hold down the Alt key while pressing the key corresponding to the underlined letter in the betting action word. E.g. Alt + F for Fold, either before your turn or when it's your turn. And you can use the standard Alt + Tab to switch between tables (or any open windows), if playing more than one. Try it in FreePlay first and see what you think. The issue of the checkboxes being close to each other has been raised before with our programmers, I can raise it again and it may be added to their to-do list if it isn't already on there.Best regards,CharliePoker Support
I was surprised that he would so candidly concede that it is a problem and that they are aware of it and are considering fixing it. Hopefully that plays to my advantage. I followed-up with him once since then, since I have still not heard anything more. :goodposting:

A while back, LHUCKS posted about how great he is at 3/6 limit poker and how he it was so easy. When it was suggested that it was just a good run and would soon come to an end, he scoffed, choosing instead to believe that he was just THAT much better than anybody else that HE ALONE would defeat the variance at a 3/6 limit donkfest table. I bring up this story to point out that his run must have ended, but he didn't post the story.

When Otis's runs end, he posts the story.

Update on the email from the manager?

Nothing from them yet, and I've followed up a couple times. :loco: On the bright side, I had 35 bucks at FullTilt and in the past 36 hours managed to roll that up to about 2500.

Easy come, easy go, easy come again.

I believe the manager will reply with

7k to most online poker players is just that, 7k. 7k to Otis online however is 0.

I believe the manager will reply with
Yeah, he may. Although I led off my opening e-mail with a tirade about how I am a prominent poster on the 2+2 forums and other forums, with the hopes being that they don't want someone like that out there trashing their site -- especially when they barely have any traffic as it is.It's at least worth e-mailing them about...

Since the train wreck is (at least for now) over, can anyone tell me what deposit methods are still available to US players? Most people still play at Stars or is it Bodog or some other place now?

So in reality, you were the Chuck Wepner of poker, and that was the tenth round against Ali.
