Do we like this movie?

I've enjoyed it but I have no idea what's going on.

I can see that.  But I'd say that Lebowski is more of a nod to Pynchon for sure.

Big Lebowski, Pineapple Express and Inherent Vice comprise a sort of three movie "Stoner Noir" genre.

I actively hate most of PT Anderson's movies with the ferocity of 10,000 suns.

This movie was incredibly good. Haven't read the book, but definitely captured a Pynchon vibe on film.

I love it, and it did make more sense watching it a second time.
