Invisibles Quiz# 999 (4 Viewers)

Finally got them all.  Took some internet searching based on a probable theme for #5 and a reverse image search for #1 as I've never seen either of those two movies.

Got #3 & #6 based on the clues above.

1 is a creature movie and those people just got there. Notice the thing sticking out of the guy.

6 has the key word in the title in the picture, also notice where they are and what they would likely do there (sans Aliens).

7 is a very well known Disney flick.

What is 5? I feel like I’ve seen it. No idea on 2 and 3 is something I’ve heard of many times but never actually watched. I used google image search on 2, 3 and 5 once I knew I didn’t know them and only 3 came back.

5 is the other movie Tom Cruise did about flying.

Well, I first guessed Fletch, but that was wrong.
Lol. I remember that scene better so I knew it wasn’t that. He never had a folder of papers and the scene was the left side of the plane IIRC. This one definitely said drama but too generic for me to remember. I liked the movie but only the action parts and the wife were memorable.

Got 3 too. A couple more look familiar but guesses weren’t correct.
Hmm, looked back and I did get 5 too. Weird, sometimes when you go back to guess more it loses a guess so must have blanked one out when I added the answer so the the total didn’t change.

2, 3, 6 and 8 so far.

ETA: 1 too. Got 4 and 5.

2. Look at where he is and add a mask.

3. What kind of field is it?

4. Some googling led me to it. Recent movie with folded flag. One of the things you see is part of the title. Never saw it.

5. Thought it was a tennis or zombie movie, but leaned toward romantic comedy. Someone linked to Elizabeth Hurley stars.

1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7

6 is a very specific film from the 70s that I loved as a kid. (eta similar release time frame as The Sting, IIRC, and maybe some similar cast)

3 is current.
I got 1,2,3,4 & 7.  No idea what 6 is.

In #5 that person in the street back there is holding a guitar and the vehicle looks like a helicopter?

In #8, the gun on the table and the splattered blood should be an indicator, but I got no clue.

I got that one immediately too, and agree that it was a very good film.

FTR, Redford is the star.

I don't think I've seen it again since I saw it in the theaters... and I was pretty young. no idea how it holds up.

I think Sarandon was nearly unknown at that time.

Rocky Horror came out 6 months later.

I got 5 on a lucky guess. Ben Stiller movie and no, not the one with the 3 band guys playing throughout the movie.

It was the guitar player than made me think of this movie which I don’t remember well at all. He’s in a helicopter so it’s action but maybe not all real due to the guitar player.

Wow...I even saw that one. Never would have guessed it.

I have a not so remarkable gift of a pretty photographic memory, but it does help with this web site which is truly useful. Guessing this one was more luck. The guitar player helped otherwise I would have though more Jack Ryan type action movie.

Thanks.  Got busy yesterday and forgot.

I only got 1, 4, 5 on my first glance.
so we're all missing on 6-8?

8 looks like a period piece taking place in the 80s.. not a movie from the 80s. the preppie outfits are just a little too much.

7 was the one with the axe? oh... wait... got it. one of Paxton's better, but lesser known films.

6 is the kitchen scene... no idea.

Never saw that Paxton movie. I tried a bunch of guesses on the kitchen one where I remember breakfasts with kids but none worked, so no clue on 6 or 8.

the one with billy bob as his brother?

Yeah...5&7 both really on the tip of my brain. Is the character in 6 naked, so we don't see them at all?

8 is a series based on YA myth/fiction.
Got 1-4 & 8 as well.  In #7, you can make out the person's back (looks to be a male) in the mirror in the background.
