#5 is a movie with the same director as 6 and based on the same novel writer. Seems like they do this sometimes and have some movies that link to each other.#6 was originally a novel, then a play and finally a movie.

I can’t tell anything from the mirror. I just have 0 clue on that one.Got 1-4 & 8 as well. In #7, you can make out the person's back (looks to be a male) in the mirror in the background.
Yep on 8. I read those books (way better than the movies, unfortunately) to my boys a ton of times. That was a mainstay in the read them to sleep days. It was also the book where I realized I was old and couldn’t read books with my glasses on since they were for long distance viewing.Yeah...5&7 both really on the tip of my brain. Is the character in 6 naked, so we don't see them at all?
8 is a series based on YA myth/fiction.
I feel like the apple laptop is a clue.... but yeah- bupkisI can’t tell anything from the mirror. I just have 0 clue on that one.
Yep, 3 and 4 same answer.Runkle said:4: Remake of another one of this week's movies
Guessed it with your hint but never saw it.Runkle said:6: That's an awkward Joaquin Phoenix

ok... that does narrow it down. I never saw that one, but know what you're talking about.I may have seen it but it didn’t stir any memories and maybe that’s a good thing.ok... that does narrow it down. I never saw that one, but know what you're talking about.
I'm surprised all of you don't immediately know 8..
MF, just checked the #8 in the last one and completely forgot that scene. I even thought about that movie (A Clockwork Orange) because it’s has so much odd behavior so to speak. I should have just tried it. I even found the answer to #7 but was hung up on a Danny Glover train movie and never tried it either.I may have seen it but it didn’t stir any memories and maybe that’s a good thing.
Have the same. How is 6 not an Indian Jones movie?
yeah... that's why I pointed it out. feels like if you've seen the movie, you would know that image immediately from a variety of standpoints (set design and costume, primarily).MF, just checked the #8 in the last one and completely forgot that scene. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen it in its entirety, but it did pop in my head. It probably did as one of the only movies I’ve seen that could have had that in it. Only other one that crossed my mind was Manhunter because the killer had a really fashionable and bizarre house from what I recall, again, long time since I watched that.yeah... that's why I pointed it out. feels like if you've seen the movie, you would know that image immediately from a variety of standpoints (set design and costume, primarily).
Manhunter had some great/cool art direction and soundtrack. Yeah, that house at the end is super cool. I guess Clockwork registered deeper with me on the visuals...feels like that image is similar to seeing Darth Vader looming over one-handed Luke on that skybridge- just iconic. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen it in its entirety, but it did pop in my head. You are correct. Thanks.I think 1 is Ron Howard movie about a math genius, set in mostly the 50's if memory serves.
Yep, standing guy on left isn’t really there.I think 1 is Ron Howard movie about a math genius, set in mostly the 50's if memory serves.
Welp, since I missed this, I didn’t realize guessing would show you everything else. I think I would have gotten 2, 3, 5, 6 and 8. Don’t think I even saw the other 3.
Got 2, 4 and 8. Also, 7 with Obi-wan. 4 is Nemo for others. Pretty sure I’ve seen 1, 3 and 5 as well.
I knew I could click on answers, must not have remembered that when you guess you also see the answers. Oh well.Yeah, if you click on last week's puzzle (or any previous week), you get the answers.
Lol. I saw that recently. That’s how “good” that character was. It didn’t cross my mind what she wore just that I felt like I had seen it. It wasn’t even my first guess after your hint.1 is a recent MCU movie
