For the email issue can't you just set up different accounts?When you open the mail client just set them all up and name them differently. Sure you would be able to see the other persons email but only if you went into them.I'm just confused why it would be like in an iphone/blackberry/droid phone

let me use and example.On my phone (android) - I currently have 4 email accounts. I open the email client and then select the one I want to read the emails (gmail, yahoo, work, comcast).Why can't you just add the wifes email the same way. So when you open up the mail client you then select which one you want to look at. Unless apple is done differently than blackberry/android. But my buddy has 5 emails on his iphone just has the mailboxes listed

Sure. I have 3 different e-mail accounts on my iPhone.

I misread Aaron's post. He was talking about more than email. He was talking settings etc etc like a desktop. The only downside with adding the email account is the wife could read yours easily and vice versa.Anyway - I didn't realize he was looking for more than just email.My bad.

Apple has not implemented separate user accounts into iOS yet. There are apps that will do this, but you have to jailbreak. I think it will be something Apple adds eventually, though.

Agreed it's something that should be added. Makes sense. Especially for something like an iPad that sits on the coffee table or nightstand and can be picked up by anyone in the house.

There is no plan of an ios update that I am aware of.

iOS 5.1 will be released March 9, it's an incremental update with a few minor new features. Expect iOS 6 in the fall alongside a new iPhone.

Stock will take a hit if/when that happens. Its more about managing expectations, and the public and investors have come to expect new releases every year - even if they are relatively minor upgrades.

Stock will take a hit if/when that happens. Its more about managing expectations, and the public and investors have come to expect new releases every year - even if they are relatively minor upgrades.

The gap between the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S was 16 months (June 2010 to Oct 2011). I do agree that it is about expectations as much as anything. Remember also that new Android phones are released on a seemingly weekly basis. Tough to expect Apple to not upgrade their lineup when their direct competitors are pushing the 'latest and greatest' so often. That said, it doesn't seem to affect sales, as the iPhone 4 sold very well right up to the release of the 4S.

Yep. The Haptic Feedbackrumors are interesting but not sure they go down that road. 1080p playback is nice. The added RAM rumor will accommodate that.

They used to try and live stream the MacWorld keynotes back in the early/mid 2000's and it was always a fustecluck. Surely video compression and bandwidth have advanced since then but they probably realized the bloggers do the work for them now.
