Is Ahmad Brooks hurt? (1 Viewer)

He doesn't appear in the boxscore, but I also haven't heard anything about him being inactive this week. Does anyone have some insight?

No insight, just bumping cause I can't find him either. Not in boxscore and don't see him in the game on TV.

Though it doesn't look like Cincy played any defensive players the way Clev offense manhandled them.

Who's his back up?
Lemer Marshall, right?
Who knows with this team. I'd expect that Marshall would stay outside and Miller would become an every down MLB if the injury is serious, but despite watching every snap this team takes I'm still routinely wrong.
After this week I'm not sure that the defense isn't some sort of elaborate illusion created with a projector and an elaborate series of mirrors. If anyone on the Cincy roster is worth holding onto, it's Mysterio.

From the blogger:

Bengals MLB Brooks Forced From Game With Groin StrainGeoff Hobson, Bengals.com - [Full Article]Cincinnati Bengals middle linebacker Ahmad Brooks left with a groin strain in the first quarter of the team's Week 2 game and did not return. He was replaced in the line-up by linebacker Caleb Miller. No additional information is currently available.

:lmao:
They did that with the moon landings too. After that performance without him, I'd say that Brooks solidified his MLB starting job with that injury, ironically enough.

Thankfully I BN him in the last minute for Gaither....
I hear you, I had to decide which one to bench of Crowder, Morgan, Brooks, and Willis and made the right call in Brooks. Hopefully it's not too serious as I need the depth with Ingram still not playing and Morgan a play away from being a vegetable.

Caleb Miller had his stats this past week, I believe he releived him after the injury. ANy word on the severity of the injury?

I would have to think Brooks was really missed in run defense. Jamal Lewis had holes to run through that were so big a truck could drive through them.

Jeanty already on the sidelines, Brooks and now Lemar Marshall is out. The Bengals are down to Caleb Miller, Landon Johnson, Schlegel, and the recently signed Dhani Jones.

I know we were expecting Caleb to move ot the middle, but does that change now? Schlegel is listed as MLB, Caleb is W/M, Landon is listed as S/W. Just looking at that and not factoring in Dhani, that would probably mean that Caleb plays Will, Schlegel plays Mike, and Landon plays Sam. How does Dhani figure into the mix? Thoughts?

At least you know 2 of the 3 are going to be 3 down backers this week :)

Bengals MLB Ahmad Brooks (groin) is expected to play in Week 4.

Brooks and center Eric Ghiaciuc (thumb) were inactive for the Bengals Week 3 loss, but both are expected to go on Sunday.
