Is anyone startable tonight? (1 Viewer)

LT is 11th in my PPR scoring league. Hoping he can have one of those old LT days when he'd have 26 carries 143 yards and 2td's with 4 grabs for 43 yards and another TD! aHHHH i can wish...
I hope so. I made the playoffs despite LT. I'm playing him and Zach Miller tonight.

Many of us own both Fargas an McFadden...who is the wise start here (if you have to start one)? Fargas seems more likely to give you between 6-10 points, whereas McFadden seems as likely to rip off 15 points as he is to get 3.

Chargers running game, led by LaDainian Tomlinson, vs. Raiders run defense, which is ranked No. 29 in the NFL. In his last game, Tomlinson got to go against Atlanta's 30th-ranked run defense. But the result wasn't what was expected, as Tomlinson rushed for 24 yards, the second-lowest total of his stellar career. This is too big of a matchup for the Chargers to overlook, although their running game is a shadow of what it once was. With the return of RG Kris Dielman to the lineup, the Chargers could have more luck running the ball after being stopped time and again by the Falcons. :wolf:

GAME PLAN: The Chargers have gone to a pass-first mentality, but that might not be the way to attack the Raiders defense. Instead, the team could go to a throw-back mentality, when its running game was among the best in the league.

The Raiders are having issues stopping the run, and it figures they will encounter a ticked-off LaDainian Tomlinson. He had only 24 rushing yards in Sunday's loss to the Falcons and will be bent on showing he and the team aren't yet finished.

could be a big dealI have solid options with Marshawn and Jacobs on my roster... I think I have a gut feeling they'll do better.... but I'm gonna throw on the light blue 21 jersey and root my ### off for LT tonight.

High hopes but low expectations... I should probably grow some nads and put him on the pine. dang it!

I wanted to bench LT, but I'm having flashbacks of leaving Westbrook on the bench last week. My odds are very long of making the playoffs anyway (need to win this week and have 2 other teams lose), so figure I'll roll with LT just to have something to watch. :wolf:

Darren McFadden-RB- Raiders Dec. 4 - 3:49 pm et "One Alameda observer" tells the Oakland Tribune that Darren McFadden is "still hobbling and not close to 100 percent" recovered from his turf toe.McFadden isn't on the injury report and can explode well with holes in front of him, but isn't making defenders miss in one-on-one matchups. He's averaging just nine touches per game in the last three weeks. Those hoping for a late-season role switch with Justin Fargas are likely to be disappointed.Source: Oakland Tribune

Starting Fargas as my flex tonight. He will get the majority of the carries and has the ability to get a buck against the SD defense. The only question is, will he score a TD.

LT owner, just waiting for his breakout game. It's gonna happen any time now, I can feel it.

Not tonight though, not against the team that is 29th in the league in rush yards allowed. That would make too much sense. Norv's gonna have 'em throw at Asomugha all night.

LT's final tally for the game: 15 carries, 42 yards 2 rec, 12 yards, 1 twisted panty over something.

Raiders win 18-5 behind Sebastian Janikowski's 6 FG's.

That's the kicker he's only got one and I only want one. I'm Starting Fargas because of the MBIII situation and I don't have any other options. So everyone can blame me if he doesn't get in the end zone. :hophead:

Is Gates really a must start anymore? He hasn't scored jack in our PPR league the last 3 weeks. Should I start Shockey over him?

Stuck with Rivers (phew), but did start Fargas, so I am going to have to sit Curtis or Matt Jones now...

Any chance the Raiders try to keep it from becoming a total blow out and continue with ball control on offense (not that they have much of a choice with Russell there).

For those of you that are very bullish on LT tonight, can you answer a few questions.#1) How much have you watched him play over the past month#2) Other than past history vs. Oakland, why do you think he'll suddenly have one of his better games. As an FYI, I am a big LT fan....drafted him with the #1 pick...and watch him via Sunday Ticket as much as I can. He's just not the same guy anymore in my opinion.
guys....... IT`S THE RAIDERS....HELLLOOOOOOO....your way over thinking this people
next week we will be having the same debate...and this will be repeated....IT`S THE CHIEFS ....HELLLLOOOOO....your way over thinking this people

SD defense
I'm wondering about them myself. Is there any way they can shutout the Raiders or get multiple sacks and some Int's with a possible Def TD? My other option is to start Dallas D against Pitt on Sunday in the snow and wind. I'm relly torn on this one.
I'm with you guys here... at the beginning of the season SD's playoff schedule had me stoked but here I am and I think I must start Buffalo's D against Miami over SD against the lowly Raiders
Boy am I glad that I went out on a limb and started SanDiego's DST at the last minute! Now just waiting on CBS to give me my points back for the Raider's kick return TD.It would be a really great X-mas present if they could show up just two more times this season!!!
