Is Maclin still a must start if he plays (1 Viewer)

There's always that possibility of a tweak.. Does he get his full snaps? Full targets?

Part of me thinks he wouldn't be out there if he was limited, but the other side keeps remembering all the players tryign to play with bad hamstrings and leaving games early.

Right now benching him for Dez, but might put him back in or go with Boldin. He isn't a "must start"

I think Maclin and Avant will be switching off, I don't see Maclin getting all his normal playing time. I have him and I'm playing L.Moore over him but not because I want to. This is a nice match up but he is such a high risk of getting injuried again or not getting all his snaps so I will sit him this week but I would like to use him.

I dont have much of a choice, its Maclin or Boldin who will be on revis island.

The hamstring can be tricky, but hes practiced fully the past two days and is probable. Eagles have to win, I think he plays well today. his numbers have been good considering vick has not finished the past two games, i believe hes like the number 12 wr. cant wait to see what happens when they both play the whole time....

*** Friday Update *** WR Jeremy Maclin (PHI) partially participated in Friday's practice but is still expected to play this weekendI didn't see anywhere that he practiced full...

good point. I just re-read the update on him, you are correct. Still going to play him though

I need to really think about this, L.Moore or Maclin.....There are so many big play guys in N.O. you never know whos going to get it week to week, but man I'm worried Maclin might screw me. He definally has more upside.

What are you guys talking about Eagles | Jeremy Maclin listed as probable Fri Sep 30, 06:48 PM Philadelphia Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 30. He is listed as probable for Week 4 and is expected to play. Our view: Maclin's hamstring injury was considered something that could put his status this weekend in danger, but he looks like a safe WR2/WR3 play now vs. the 49ers. Thanks for that info, FBG's have him as practiced partially not full. Good to know.

Sal Pal just said that Harbaugh told him they will be "playing keepaway" from Vick and the Eagles. He was speaking about running the ball extensively. I don't know if that helps your decision.

No it doesn't. What opposing coach would want to give the ball to the Eagles offense?

I benched Maclin in week 2 when he went off for the greatest day by a WR on by bench in my history of playing fantasy football so I'm terrified of doing the same thing so I'm starting him.

There is risk here not just with Maclin but if at some point Vick gets re-injured or decides at some point in the game his hand is to problematic. While Kafka is a boon to Maclin I think Vince would rain down on Maclins value. See Kenny Britt game logs with Vince under center to see what I mean.

As always whether or not a player is a must start depends on your other options.

sounds like a bunch of 3 and outs because the niners suck at running the ball.
