Is MyFBG going to work this year (1 Viewer)

Has it been abandoned?  I thought that you were going to leave "classic" in place.  Why has it gone away?  Is iMyFBG abandoned for this year?

I synced and imported all three of my leagues this morning. I had zero issues and it worked seamlessly. I thought the process was much easier than past years.

I guess it is just unstable.  I imported one league then it broke again.  Rebooted and it was still broken.  Too bad.  It was a very useful function but it is not worth the aggravation and disappointment.

Someone help explain this Week 1 split to me:

QB Luck is projected to have 1.8 INT

DST Detroit is projected to have 0.9 INT

This is not uncommon when looking at QB projections versus DST projections, there's absolutely no correspondence.

And, yes, it would be nice to know what aspects of the MyFBG product is working and what is not working.

I gave up expecting anything to work with MyFBG when it became clear that the new roll-out was being delayed. Surprisingly, right from the start syncing my leagues worked fine for me on the new. I didn't go further than syncing though because it was clear there were glitches in lineup recommendations and scoring settings and projections. Following the directions in this thread I swapped everything to the reborn MyFBG Classic. Now everything works perfectly. Even was able to link a new league and complete the setup. If there's a glitch now I haven't seen it.

Chrome browser on Android phone.

Projections are all screwy in all my leagues.....
I don't think anything is reliable at this point.  I'll have sorts where the top QB is scoring 11 points one minute and then 10 minutes later--without changing a thing--Wilson is back atop the leaderboard at 19.

Struggling to access classic with the border in the way on the message board (apparently this has been raised numerous times with staff saying they have bigger fish to fry to fix this).  Plus, it's entirely unclear whether "classic" is the only game in town now or whether the new module they worked so long on is going to be operational at all.  I don't see any links for it.  Had wild disparities between the two modules in terms of point projections when compared side to side.  It's not clear at all which one is syncing with what.

i love the irony of all this going on while Joe sends out the memo of the price increase, saying they have a superior product.  On paper, I suppose it is, but this offseason has been such a #### show, it's not functional...so it's actually inferior to everything that's out there right now.

Couldn't import so I synced manually, but the scoring and lineup settings are ####ed up and there is no way to fix them

See I did that a few days ago and have been completely ignored.
I tried last week with no reply.

Seems like a customer service team or something needs to be in place by now.  I finally got mine up and running, had to use my phone to sync as the computer failed.

The link to My.Footballguys has been removed from the banner at the top to funnel everyone into Classic, instead, which at this point seems to be a better / preferable interface. This gets most of the users in one place, which lets most of the support staff focus their efforts more. If you preferred the new My.Footballguys, it still exists, it's just that the link to it in the banner at the top has been pulled. But it's fully functional still.

I drafted two leagues in the last two nights and went to add them to MyFBG Classic this morning. I had a good amount of trouble getting rosters to import, but after several rounds of going through and re-syncing everything, then closing my browser to clear my cache and re-syncing again, I finally got everything working. I know that's frustrating. I was frustrated doing it. You shouldn't have to jump through that many hoops to get things working, but there it is: if you jump through those hoops, you can probably get things working again.

I wrote up an article on troubleshooting MyFBG, just click that link. That should contain quick walkthroughs on how to fix the most common problems, (essentially guides on how to re-sync everything again). Just as importantly, it contains links to which email accounts you should email for which problems. The email accounts are created especially for MyFBG problems-- emailing them generates a support ticket and gets the message fast-tracked to Simon, Keith, Doug, or some combination thereof, whichever is most appropriate based on the issue.

In regards to the navigation bar for the forum overlaying the navigation bar for the site, I'm not tech support so it's possible I'm off on some of the details, but my understanding is that we've relayed that to the company that provides our forum software and they're working on a fix. In the meantime, the workaround is going from the forum to the homepage, (accomplished by clicking the big "Footballguys: Your One Stop Fantasy Source" banner in the top-left corner of every page), and then from there navigating where you want to go. Yes, it's incredibly frustrating to have to jump through hoops just to navigate the site. Navigation is website-building 101. But there it is: another hoop you can jump through to fix the functionality while we're waiting on a fix to get things working how they should have been in the first place.

I also know that there have been a lot of issues with Safari. Chrome has been by far the most successful browser, I believe. Which... yeah, you shouldn't have to download a new browser to get MyFBG working properly. This is the internet; proper functionality with the "big four" browsers should be a minimum. But if you're using Safari and having issues, this is another hoop you can jump through that could potentially resolve them.

It kills me that stuff isn't working right, and I'm not even on the tech team. I know those guys feel terrible and are working overtime to try to get everything fixed. The back-end on FBGs has been languishing without an update for too long, and one was kind of overdue, but it certainly didn't go well. That's on us, no question. Like I said, I'm not on the tech team, but let me know if there's anything else I can do to help get anyone else's MyFBGs running properly again.

It worked earlier this week. They must have made some changes in the past day or two as its now all F'd up. I tried syncing rosters for my dynasty IDP league on MFL yesterday after we finished rookie draft and free agency bidding.  It wouldn't sync. In fact my leagues both disappeared when I followed the instructions for the sync. I had already enter my RSO IDP league scoring and roster manually, and it's all gone.  Emailed tech support yesterday and got a response to try Chrome browser on my iPad.  Tried that and it still didn't work. Emailed again and have yet to hear from them. Very frustrated and disappointed.

Shouldn't be that hard for most end users. I bet 95-99% will clear their issues simply by unlinking the default league, relinking and hitting sync again. But I'm a one league guy so maybe it gets more complicated once you're tying to load multiple leagues. I'm just saying as a non-technical person it was super easy to fix my issue myself, and a couple of friends had the same experience.

Regarding the issues with the new system, I can't speak to the back end, but I can offer that having the tech team in the forums was probably not the wisest decision. You really should have a single designated point person (project manager) whose sole purpose is to facilitate and promulgate. Having a technical issue is kind of meh, that stuff happens. Rollouts are often messy. I don't get why they didn't build a lab and get some testers (I'm sure many of us would have jumped in as volunteers and given feedback) but water under the bridge.

Exacerbating the situation by not properly managing information flow and setting expectations is in my opinion inexcusable. Show some foresight. It is unfathomable to me that an owner wouldn't be concerned about whether his company/site is coming across as amateurish.

[the latter is not directed at Adam, who is always helpful to the extent he can be.]

Really good timing by Joe to have crucial site functionality melting down while sending notice of a price increase.  Not sure who would want to up for more given the complete lack of communication from management.

MyFBG basically useless for me right now. Weekly primer was awesome last year but doesn't even load properly for me because the thing can't sync teams.

Weekly primer is fine but my issue is that the scoring seems to change on a whim when I synch leagues. All of a sudden my PPR leagues become standard which impacts the start/sit decision making process.

Any solution for this issue>
