SF def has had two impressive showings in the last two weeks, holding the Jets to 182 yds and 14 pts this week, and the Bills to 3 pts the week before. These guys seem to be playing inspired football for Mike Singletary. Will the trend continue vs Miami's offense and help some teams in the playoffs, or should they be avoided?

I think they could be a good pickup for teams that are looking for a good waiver wire def in week 15.

problem 1: miami also squashed the buffalo offense. there might be bigger problems there.

problem 2: you got the west-to-east travel for a 1 pm game issue.

The NYJ game was a trap game for sure...I had the NYJ DEF and TJones and then realized the game was in SF...AND NYJ had lost both trips this season to the West Coast (OAK, SD).Also, as mentioned, I think a couple other teams have pounded the Bills since Trent Edwards went out.

Great matchup. I think I'm dropping Carolina for SF def. Carolina plays Den, NO, NYG ....not good.
