Matt Forte? I can't think of anyone off the top of my head but this guy was rated VERY high and by where he was rated I took him with the 4th overall pick thinking it was a great pick thinking he would go at 3rd, didn't think he would be there I can't believe how much this guy has fallen. His he now just a weekly play depending on who he plays? I've been plugging him in every week, but am rethinking that now. It his very hard to sit him, but it is also hard to keep putting up with the numbers he's producing.

Thing was that most of his fantasy production last year was a product of an inordinate number of carries more so than anything he did that was special. Most of us figured the carries would have to go down. The addition of Cutler has made the team into more of a passing team than I can ever remember the Bears being and Cutler doesn't throw to the back that much.

I was thinking the same thing...Cutler has been great imo...he was sliding in every draft and was taken 8 or 9th qb off the board in most of the drafts i was in.

You're right, Cutler's numbers have been good. I shouldn't have included him but was trying to come up with a QB.

You're right, Cutler's numbers have been good. I shouldn't have included him but was trying to come up with a QB.

Not a problem.As a Cutler owner, his style of play, and many, many Int's in primetime games, makes me think he's sucking this year, but he is putting up some good overall numbers. It's just hard to watch at times.

He is RB11 going into tonight in my 12 team PPR league. I can't complain at all. He won't score many TDs this year, but he won't score zero either. Even if he had 3 TDs he would be top 5. But he doesn't so that is what is limiting his value. I was surprised the Rams go away from him yesterday in the second half. He had 5 receptions in the first half, where he did most of his damage. It's obvious he is the best player on the field, and on the last drive they finally went to him and he ripped off an impressive long play on a screen. Far from a bust at this point.

Those 4 picks came in one half, and the O-Line played like Trash that half.... Cutler got the Bears back in the game and also got them the lead deeeeeeep in the 4th. If Vasher had some help over the top on GB's #1 WR Chicago would of won.

Games of 97 yds, 83 yds, and 128 yds don't necessarily hurt. I say that's 4 good games out of 6, not bad.

This is really really hilarious.

When Cutler wasn't winning in DEN it was the defense fault, now he's moved to CHI and when he loses it's the D's fault as well.

OTOH, when Orton was winning in CHI it was the D winning, and now that he's winning in DEN it is the D winning.

When you put your D on it's back with stupid TOs they're going to look bad. Cutler throws way too many stupid INTs for anyone to put blame on the defense for his losses.

He now has four straight games where he has put up 20 points or more, and is the tenth ranked QB in my league despite already having had his bye... I'm guessing he was drafted as the 6th to 8th QB off the board in most leagues, and possibly lower in some. I'd say he's easily living up to his draft position.

Yup. Cutler almost always goes to his first or second option - he has a ton of confidence in his arm, sometimes too much. He'd rather try to squeeze the ball into a guy blanketed by 2 or more defenders 20 yards down field than check down to his RB. Many times, he is successful. Other times, not so much. The guy is so incredibly talented, but he has to learn to go through is progressions. That's the only thing holding him back from becoming an elite QB.

Funny, My RB's are Forte (Keeper), Chris Johnson and LT2. I was flying high after draft. They are all busts up to this point. I am not sure if any will live up to ADP at end of season

the problem is both the O-Line AND Forte.

we all know about how bad the o-line is especially with the run. but Forte is also the problem, he may be beat up from last year, he does not have the same pop when he hits the hole. he looks sluggish and a step slower.

I'm not completely convinced Forte is a bad RB. I think, now especially, he doesn't fit well with their system.

With the type of QB they have, I feel a more quick-moving, elusive, speedy rb (Sproles for example) would dominate in that offense. Forte is more of a run through the tackles, patient, and will find the holes. Well, the up-tempo offense isn't conducive to this type of RB, and besides, the offensive line leaves something to be desired.
