if people can't realize there is a double standard point of view when it comes to this (boy/girl) then that is there problem....it's kinda like the whole "n" word thing.....

I agree with the simple post above about

fired: yes

when teachers enter that profession, that is rule #1 no matter what gender.....

and bottom line, because of that, if they are willing to cross the line of rule #1, the ones that do, especially the hot ones, have some issues if they feel the need to enter into this type of relationship......it has little to do with sex, as the hot ones could be getting banged every night if they wanted to....

I dated a girl when I was a college sophomore who was a substitute teacher for our gym class my senior year of HS.

When I was a senior in HS, I was 16 or 17. She was our sub for a few days and was 23 or 24...We ended up meeting again at a party after my freshman year of college (18 at the time, she was 25), and dated for about 9 months. I can't say that I felt markedly more mature in the year or so that passed, and I certainly wasn't a "victim."

Scary to think she's like 43 now...

Is she still hot? Was she ever hot?

Before somebody asks, I'm not posting pictures...I'm still facebook friends with her, but I can't find any pictures worthy of posting with a face blurred out. I'd say she was a 7 back then...the student/teacher connection made her much higher at the time. She was a middle-distance runner in college, and coached track until just recently, so she had and I'd say still has a nice body...very slim and athletic, not curvy at all. Truthfully, If someone showed me her picture now and asked me how old she was, I'd guess mid 30's, so she's aged well.

She got pregnant a few years after we broke up and has a kid now...the dad isn't in the picture. A few years after the kid was born, she asked me if I had any interest in trying to get back together. I was single at the time, but had zero interest in her at that point, mostly because of the kid.

I'd propose that there is a diminishing offdee scale adjuster in play here.

Base rating + 2 for being a teacher, -2 for each subsequent decade over her 20's.

-If she's an every-day 6 teacher in her 20's, she'd be an 8 for the teacher/student relationship, no age penaltiy.

-Let's say she's a cougar who is a 7 in her 40's...she'd be an 9 for the teacher student thing, but reduce by 4 to a net 5 for being in her 40's...She'd be decent to an adult, but even as a cougar, I'd expect more from a teenager. There's plenty of teenage poon that's hotter than a 7 cougar.

ETA two things

-No kid of mine gets high-fives for smashing a 60 year old unless she's the president or the first lady.

-In general, I think only 8's or above deserve high-fives...

If your 16 year old son came to you and said he was having sex with his teacher, you would congratulate him?

I think there's a clear middle ground between congratulations and complete sympathy for a victim.

Sure, you need to ask a few questions before you prep him for the lawsuit.

• What doe she look like?
• Do you have pics?
• Is she on the pill?
• How are you not getting an A in her class?
• Does she have any friends?

If his answers make me happy, then I'll congratulate.

How someone doesn't see the difference here is shocking to me... I'd like one of the eight bozos who voted victim to explain why.

Based on that, we should have different voting age, drinking age and driving age for men vs women.

Voting: Men - 18, Women - Never

Drinking: Men - 19, Women - 16

Driving: Men - 16, Women - 30 unless going to the grocery/liquor store
