it'll depend on how this division plays out over the next few weeks as well...as bad as they have played only a game out could lose a few games still and still be in it going into week 13.Dropping. (I wouldn't expect him before their Week 12 bye regardless)
Foles plays well, keeps the job.
OR
Foles tanks, Eagles tank and Barkley starts rest of year to access.
Same here- 2QB league, very competitive, very bunched standings. My nightmare entirely. Can't drop him & risk an opponent starting him against you in the playoffs for 4 TDs.
Freeing up one of 6 bench spots from my QB2 where my QB1 has passed his bye. If you've got 5 weeks (at a minimum IMO) to wait on him and have the bench space, keep him. Keep in mind Vick tried to return in 3 weeks this time -- was immobile & suffered a big setback. If you think he's returning before the Week 12 bye, you're going to be disappointed IMO. See my prior post about Eagles QB situation.if your dropping him, i guess the question would be.. why?
are you finding another player who can give you his potential numbers?
need the roster spot or what?
b/c the chances you find a guy who could put up his potential numbers in weeks 14,15,16 probably arent very likely
But that's just the thing. There's virtually no way he's back as the starter before Week 13, which is the last week of most FF regular seasons. From that point on, it's win or go home.ebsteelers said:but i dont think you can drop him, the potential there would make it tough if he explodes in any given week.
figuring out which week that will happen going forward will make you pull your hair out though.
