Isaiah Crowell (3 Viewers)

Didn't see the run. Anyone got a link to the highlight or GIF?
broke an arm tackle at the line of scrimmage going to the left, cut it back across the middle and stiff armed a LB to the ground, kept cutting right and stiff armed a safety to the ground, free run to the endzone with a good angle. it was a very impressive play.

Crowell: 11-80-2
West: 13-42-0

One of these things is not like the other.

ETA: uh-oh!

West 14, Crowell 12

West 126, Crowell 90

Anybody besides Pettine understand?

I own Josh & Crowe - gonna be a fun stretch run

Stop celebrating his TD's and ypc. Start celebrating the fact that he didn't fumble!

This was the day that his owners, especially those who drafted him, were waiting for. Finally had enough advance notice to take the chance and start him...and he delivered.

Don't forget that West actually fumbled early as well. Not sure if the coaches knew at the time, but the FB jumped on the ball and they called him down. The announcers showed the replay and said the ball was out.

Loved the effort from Crowell (started him in 2 of 3, didn't have him in the 3rd) and Gordon today. Hopefully, the start of something beautiful for both.

A lot of the Crowell detractors gonna change their tune after tonight.

Crowell > West easily. Before the draft and now.
If you think anyone is changing their mind because of a few 4th quarter runs in the most meaningless of all NFL football games your out of your mind. What's meaningful is that Crowell didn't even get into this game until the second half.
The people who actually believed Terrance West was more talented than Crowell is out of their mind.

The fact that West has looked pitiful throughout the pre-season while getting so many opportunities and Crowell did so much more on so little is meaningful.
Yes. We should ignore that West was getting first team reps and that Crowell did absolutely nothing all preseason until he tore it up in the second half of the week 4 PS game. And that Crowell was so amazing against a bunch of guys who will either be looking for work next week or will be getting NFL time almost exclusively composed of some ST work truly shows his incredible greatness. Good call.
Thanks. Now go eat some Crow-ell.

It vexes me that West got so much play today. Just gotta hope Crow can chip away pretty quickly and command a higher percentage of touches. It was nice at least seeing him on the field for the game winning drive.

So 1 35 yd run and a bunch more at 2.0 ypc defines a stud RB now?
Barry Sanders did well with that style. No stud potential until he gets closer to those 25 carries per game though.
So Crowell will be Sanders-esque if he just gets enough workload? Oh, and doesn't keep fumbling.
Not saying he's a must-start stud but "take away the big play" is literally one of the weakest arguments in fantasy football.
In FF, I agree. In real life? It makes a hell of a difference.
caca

Going the highlights abound. I own him in 3 of 4 leagues. I divested of Lesean mccoy for him in one league. A wash this week but confidence is high moving forward.
