It Follows - Best Horror Movie Since I Saw The Devil (1 Viewer)

A movie doesnt need to scare the crap out of your or cause nightmares for it to be a good scary/horror movie.

Maybe you just don't like anything in that genre.
I could be too picky, yes.
Well, what movies in this genre DO you actually like?

Rather than say you are too picky, maybe you just dont like these kinds of movies.
after some thinking, I enjoyed: legion, the crazies, 30 days of night, 28 days later, the shining. know there's more it just seems like few and far between for me in this genre.

edited to say you're next was pretty good too.

I'll have to check it out. I'd recommend The Antichrist for anyone who needs a jolt and doesn't want Hollywood schlock. It is moving, and disturbing on a few levels.
If you recommend a Lars von Trier movie to anyone ever again, may the sex demon from It Follows find you and rip out your intestines through your left nostril.
I liked AntiChrist also. Bring on the sex demon.

However, I wouldnt recommend that movie to anyone who I cared what they thought of me.

:lmao:

I have a list of these movies as well. Different thread, but Tree of Life is a fine example of that.

:lmao: Would Happiness fall under that as well?

Jacob's Ladder was pretty scary to me. Maybe on a more psychological level. I've wanted to see it again, but just can't do it. :scared:

Loved how everything was 70s style, tv's were 50s style, and that girl had a weird clamshell cell phone thingy.
