LinkSo this is draft weekend for a league in our 17th year with the same owners for the entire run. A real tight group of guys from school. At the draft we all meet up old school, live draft style in Atlantic City. No computers with Vbd, just cheat sheets, a few magazine holdouts and some random draft notes. So now we're all grown up have wives, kids and jobs so for a huge fantasy guy who does this all year round this is Christmas.
We're all here in the hotel hanging out waiting to go out, gamble and have a good time. Then tomorrow we've rented a conference room for the big day. It wouldn't be draft weekend without some good smack talk. On the eve of the draft my buddy puts this together and sends it out to the league. The guy in the link is a real conservative accountant type and last year his lost his shirt a bit in AC. Thought this was funny enough to post.
Enjoy your drafts everyone. It's fun and competitive but I'm glad its still fun. Lets hear some draft stories. Damn, doesn't look like the link worked but let's hear about everyones drafts.
