Jacksonville at Pittsburgh (3 Viewers)

Does an onside kick have a higher chance of working than your defense stopping Blake Bortles? Wow, low confidence in your defense.

So why not use a timeout in front of the two minute warning at 2:10 or so there?  Seems like it at least saves a few tics on the clock.

That defense has been getting plastered all day, and even one first down could be enough.

It's hardly a no-brainer decision. I don't think either choice would have been a bad one

In that Zimmer commercial. Why does he capitalize the T’s on the ‘To’ and ‘The’ on the first two lines but uses lower case on the next two lines?

Smart to save the timeouts till after the 2-minute warning when the time is that close.
Explain this to me.  Whistle blew at 2:12.  ####.  They may have been able to use the two min warning for the 3rd down play had they used timeouts in front of the warning.

Ironically, the guy I'd trust to give the best analysis of which QB is better... is Dilfer.
Truth. The one thing Dilfer had going for him is how smart and self-aware he was. Would have made a good coach.

Well if Jacksonville runs there ball, they're  better than through the air. Best hope is Bortles throws it. If JAX runs its game over anyway. Defense isn't stopping anything.
Still, it's a different situation when you KNOW they are running.      Much better chances to hold.
