Jamal Lewis (1 Viewer)

i have Jamal Lewis. also have Jonathan Stewart and Rudi Johnson (not great options :X ).

since Jamal is a 4:15 pm ET decision and I have to decide by noon Sunday, do I still stat Jamal? If not, who do I start -- Stewart or Rudi?

TIA.

These late game decisions are horrible. Im gonna throw out DeAngelo as my #2 rb and let jamal sit week 1. Dont like his matchup anyway.

i've got the exact same decision. I dont think either will produce against their matchups, regardless of health. But, i'll take the healthy RB over the ? in this case.

No denying the article, I just don't understand why they don't update the depth charts to show Harrison as RB2. Weird.
Because the coach not the GM makes these decisions. Wright is better than Jerome. After this week you guys will drop Harrison but Wright will be gone.

Wright is the handcuff play for Lewis owners. Harrison will get DA killed if he played the full time role. Harrison is horrible at blitz pickups.

My only option for taking Lewis out is Young against Raiders pity run defense. I'm leaning towards exercising it.

Going to have to start McFadden over him. Oh well, maybe I will be close to my opponent going into Monday and DMC can finish him off. Not that I don't expect him to perform decent.

Give me the scouting report on Wright, never seen him play before. If Lewis has an injury plagued season is he a potential Ryan Grant type or would this backfield be destined for a RBBC with below average talent?

read another little quote this morning that sounds more like it would be rbbc to me:
"That's what they've been preparing to do," Crennel said. "We've said all along that Jamal is a different kind of player that we're dealing with, and those guys, they're not to Jamal's level. We understand that, but they do bring something to the table and they'll help this team. "They'll step in and do their part. Jason stepped in last year and he represented himself very well. Harrison, when he's had the opportunities to get in, he's shown that he can make some plays as well. So between the two of them, they might be able to live up to what Jamal gives us."

If either of the two players could become a Ryan Grant it would be Harrison, not Wright. Wright is a downhill runner without sig power or speed, he makes the team because he blocks well and isn't horrible with the ball. Wright is more talented by stays on the inactive list due to not contributing on special teams or being any kind of blocker. He has supposedly made enough progress in these areas this year to warrant an active roster spot. He has more burst and wiggle than Wright and is a better receiver. Given the chance I think he could become a league average back, which behind this line and with this passing game could be a very productive FF player.
