Ok I clicked in. First article was about arrests being made regards to a Las Vegas incident where fireworks were set off and paint was spattered at a courthouse. I fully support this arrest but a courthouse is a courthouse, not a seat of government I was unaware of the Vegas incident.Let's pretend you didn't already know this:

I'll wait for the excuses to be made and goal posts to be moved.![]()
They were literally chanting it guy. They had weapons and motivation. They were just unsuccessful. Did you not see the cop leading them away from the Senate? This guy? That's an outright lie and you know it. There is ZERO proof of that.
However, BLM/Antifa killed at least 4 people in the CHOP/CHAZ zone (that we know of).

Second one was a Department of Homeland Security building. Which hey again...give those attackers whatever they got coming.
Third one was more interesting in that it was a group protesting masks entering a building in Oregon with Guns. However I think it was right wingers and not left wingers.
I stopped there. I will definitely agree with you that government buildings had been attacked and vandalized. Further I will say I how every single one of the guilty is found and charged. All the way on up to the financers of BLM and Antifa if they were involved.
I still say also, importantly none of those buildings were full of elected officials trying to accommodate the peaceful transfer of power for the United States government at the very time of the attack though. They simply are not the same things bud.

At the end of the day, this is the right statement. Doesn't stop a certain handful of posters "but BLM!"ing up a ton of threads though.Ok I clicked in. Overall we need to do a better job of discussing each topic on their own.
Riots are a sad part of the US's history. Have happened and been violent and with property destruction and looting throughout our history.Well, as much as you WISH that were true - and let me tell you that simply saying it does not make it true - it isn't. They are tied together at the hip with the only difference that BLM/Antifa caused way more destruction, violence and death than 1/6 ever did. I mean, it's not even close. BLM/Antifa wins hand down.![]()
Of course, that won't stop you and a handful of posters who continue to pretend BLM/Antifa was a "peaceful protest".
Riots are a sad part of the US's history. Have happened and been violent and with property destruction and looting throughout our history.
What's not part of our history until until January 6th is the attempted delay or reversal of the peaceful transition of power in this country.
If you can't see this then perhaps you should re-look at things.
So, BLM was trying to prevent the peaceful transition of power for the first time in our nation's history? Is revisionist history also part of our history? Because you're pretty good at it.![]()
Because you seem to be forgetting the fact that BLM/Antifa attacked local, state and Federal buildings during their rampage across America for almost two years.
I would suggest you take the blinders off off and start looking at things as how they are and not how you wish them to be.
So, BLM was trying to prevent the peaceful transition of power for the first time in our nation's history?
Holy moly friend. Many many many riots have involved government buildings. How many others targeted the VP with shouts of hang him simply so he wouldn't certify the votes as is his legal responsibility.
Sorry friend, the two events, while both bad, aren't in the same stratosphere of significance to our nation.
But I'm sure you'll find some false equivalency.
Put him on ignore. Really enhances the forum experience.Riots are a sad part of the US's history. Have happened and been violent and with property destruction and looting throughout our history.

Like you are saying they are alike in that they started off as protests and turned violent and destructive. That's about the extent of it. Otherwise, different set of people involved, different reasons for being there, etc.
But BR hates BLM, so he has to inject that into a ton of threads.
False Equivalency is the go to phrase when somebody is comparing apples to oranges, yes."False Equivalency" claims seem to be the go to phrase when you don't want to face the hard truths. Goalposts moved, I guess.
Once again, you should see things for what they are, not what you WISH them to be.![]()
Yeah, the only one that's being obtuse is you. You keep moving the goalposts. Every time I disprove one of your points you feverishly come up with some other nonsense.Sabertooth said:I think they knew Mike Pence wasn't in there transferring power from one president to another. Your glossing over of this little detail tells me you won't have an honest discourse. Which is fine. If you can't tell the difference between buildings and job functions, I don't really see a need to further this discussion. You are trying to be obtuse here.
I can only lead you to the water. I can't make you drink it.False Equivalency is the go to phrase when somebody is comparing apples to oranges, yes.
Defintely would consider voting Haley in a primary just so Trump would explode losing to a woman. It won’t happen but fun to think about.dkp993 said:From your lips to Gods ears
