Jared from Subway got what he deserved (1 Viewer)

I heard he ran in the New York City marathon. I wished he would've gotten hit by a car, but he actually finished.
Why? That seems really shallow of you.I say good for him. More people should follow his lead.
If you have to ask...
You're dodging. Answer the question. What is your problem with Jared? Is it that he is overexposed? I can see that. But the guy managed an admirable accomplishment and, even more impressively, turned it into a career. He deserves kudos not derision.
What accomplishment was that? Getting obese by being a pig and then becoming a hero to the people for doing the Jenny Craig? I think you need to choose your heroes a little better, guy. :bye:
No one called him a hero, guy.

Does any one else think that Jared doesn't look particularly healthy? Did they even have him standing in the commercial? I think there is some weird "Weekend at Bernie's" thing going on.

Supposedly he had an epic porn collection in college. A knew a guy who was in the dorm where Jared was the RA. Told me and others how J's collection was massive and could challenge Raidernation for the crown.

BREAKING: FBI agent escorts subway spokesperson Jared Fogle inside his home during a child porn investigation raid
Oh my...

Subway Jared Allegedly Ran Porn Lending Library Out of His College DormAccording to a Best Week Ever exclusive from back in 2007, while at Indiana University, Jared ran a black market pornography rental service straight out of his dorm room. From Best Week Ever:

His porn collection was vast and extensive, and Fogle took his business pretty seriously. A video would run a patron a dollar a day (cheap!), and people would come from all over to take advantage of the deal. Needless to say, Jared had enough porn to keep his customers happy.

From April...

Executive director of Jared Foundation arrested on child pornography, exploitation charges

Wonder if Taylor is throwing Jared under the bus.
If the FBI finds anything of significance here, Jared might want to be on the bus, if you catch my drift.
Dear god, I hope the FBI kept him off the bus.

If it's true he should just swallow a bullet. Then again I hope he doesn't go that route because, again if it's true, prison justice is what guys like that deserve.

If there a Cliff's Notes on this? From what I've been able to tell, this Taylor guy is the one in trouble, and Jared liked porn in college.

The FBI arrested the now-former head of Jared's Foundation, and now they're at Jared's house to see if he had any involvement. Right now, everyone's innocent until proven guilty, but once the FBI gets involved, they usually have pretty strong evidence.

WHO CARES!

It's the internet.

Burn him alive today with 1000's of new memes and if he is not involved, oh well

Apparently the guy running the Jared Foundation tried to kill himself after being arrested.

Here's a question for everyone: Is attempted suicide in instances like these an admission of guilt, in your opinion?

Would you want to be heading to prison with that label?

This guy and those stupid jewelery store commercials are absolutely killing my name for future generations. Then number of children being named Jared has to be dropping precipitously because no one wants to associate their kid with either "the Subway guy" or "he went to Jared" commercials. I will never go to the Jared jewelery stores because of those ridiculous commercials. Also, I'd boycott Subway, but I can't beat a meatball sub for $5.
I'm thinking this may be the death knell to my namesake. At least its only my son's middle name...he still has a chance at a life.

RIP "Jared" moniker

But wouldn't you rather fight a false accusation, if you're actually innocent, instead of just offing yourself and letting people think you were guilty and decided to end it all?

We're not talking about my reaction, we're talking about whether we think his reaction is an admission of guilt. What I'd do is irrelevant.

From this CNN link,

"...U.S. Attorney's office spokesman Tim Horty said he couldn't confirm or deny an investigation...."

Tim Horty? Subway? Huge conspiracy going down IMO.

Fair point, but back to the original question: Is attempted suicide by an accused criminal an admission of guilt in your eyes?
