Jarred Page? (1 Viewer)

I didn't see what happened, but Sammy Knight is on the sidelines with his helmet off and Jarrad Page is playing SS.

Spot series rest or sign of the future?

ETA: second series in -- looks good too

Very interesting. Somewhere around here I mentioned that Page may be ahead of Pollard. He is.

1. Sammy Knight was benched after missing multiple assignments during the first half of Sunday's home opener. Rookie Jarrad Page took his place and performed well. Page is one heck of an athlete. He was rated the third-best cornerback in the nation as a prep athlete and only switched to safety after arriving at UCLA. The Chiefs took Bernard Pollard in the second round of the draft, but when Page was still on the board in the seventh round, the Chiefs jumped on him. The Chiefs staff erupted into applause and high-fived one another after securing Page, so they clearly thought they got an incredible value. All indications are that he'll get the start in Denver as well. Keep your eye on him but remember that he's a rookie. He'll miss some assignments but Herm and Gun feel he gives us the best chance of winning at this juncture.
This is not a good turn of events for Pollard owners. But Page looks like a nice addition, starting already. I like his talent better than Landry and equal to (while much different than) Harper.eta linkage

Well I must say, Thank You (Hope I can say that later as well) for the heads up on him Chaos, as I acquired him in my dynasty Thurs. night via blind bid. Have Knight on my roster (On the bench) Looks like a viable start for me instead of a 3rd DL. Think it was in the new pinned area-Coaches Corner, BTW, a great addition- where you made mention of him. Without knowing much about him, if he starts and holds his own, he can be a good find.
