Jason Belmonte.....how well known is he? (1 Viewer)

He's not well known, because few care about pro bowling.

The two-handed thing: is he the first to do it?

It makes sense to me. Kind of like the guide hand on a jump shot.

I know, but only because it happened to be on today while I was at the gym.

And what is up with this Maldonado guy using two hands when he rolls?

Now I know three bowlers. Earl Anthony, Point at Your Crotch Guy, and Two Handed Bowler Guy..

Do you who he is without googling it?

Pretty sad, imo, that's he not more well-known.
Not sure why it's sad. I don't know the top dart throwers on the world either. Cricket? Nope. Curlers? Zero.
But I know who Rory McCraclesleroy (sp?) is and I could give 2 poops about pro golf.

My point was that more people should know Belmonte solely based on how dominant he's been the past couple of years.

The difference is golf is a popular sport, and almost no one cares about bowling.

Met him a couple of months ago with my son. Took a picture with us and was extremely nice/friendly. Best bowler on the planet right now, 20-25 years ago he'd be more well known than today.
