I had written Campbell off but the last couple weeks he has looked really good. Over 300 yards and 2 TD's today. Faces the Chiefs at home next week. Maybe Romo owners should be buying him?

Decent players tend to put up decent numbers. Every once in a while, they even put up good numbers.

even a blind rat finds the cheese once in a blue moon. Campbell is still bad

Doesn't he look like he's finally getting it though? They've got a solid run game so it's taking more pressure of him.

if u looked at his stats he showed great improvement and put up a respectable 7.1 y/a last year on a horrendous team. i never understood why everyone was so down on him.

The Raiders still state that Gradkowski is the starter once he is healthy. I am guessing that the decision really depends on Campbell's performance against the Chefs this week.

:thumbdown:He's not going to be a Pro Bowl level QB, and if he's at his best it will always be more as a fantasy QB than an NFL QB. He just lacks that "it" factor as a player and team leader. But if you want a read on what he was dealing with from his o-line last year, just watch McNabb and the Redskins this year. McNabb's getting the hell beaten out of him the same way that Campbell did, but with a better play-caller than JC had last year. Campbell was getting hit by interior linemen on 3-step drops last year before he could get rid of the ball on quick slants!
