Anyone have any further information about his status? I have Gostowski on bye and Elam is now listed as questionable.

CBSSL posted: Broncos K Jason Elam (right calf) is listed as questionable for Week 10 at Kansas City. Elam did not practice Friday after doing so the previous two days.

Calf injury on Elam … We learned of this after practice in the injury report. On the roster, there’s no logical fill-in, except maybe Sauerbrun … but with Simeon Rice released, the Broncos’ roster is at 52, so if they needed a one-game fill-in, they’d have room. Brandon Pace, whom they cut in the preseason, has been making the league-wide Tuesday tryout rounds this year.

I haven't heard anything about it other than what's already been posted in this thread. For some reason, both of the major Denver newspapers haven't picked up on this yet, which is surprising. The only thing that I can offer is that Elam has suffered a calf injury before, and he managed to continue kicking for the rest of the season by simply altering his approach and his swing.
