Javon Walker (1 Viewer)

I see Walker as an elite talent and I think Lhucks is missing the boat their. I think we're talking TO and Smith type talent that produce regardless of QB.
I think he's top 5 talent, but if you don't get the ball and your QB sucks that talent can be squandered.

Romo and Delhomme agree with you.Only a fool passes on top five talent at WR15. Worst downside is your Lelie top 30 talent picks up the slack.

Elite WRs produce regardless of surrounding circumstances. Besides, do we really think Jay Cutler SUCKS? He set all sorts of rookie records once he finally got the start- records that had been owned for the past 20 years by Dan Marino. When you're doing things that no rookie has done since Dan Marino, I'd say your career is off to a pretty good start.

To an extent, but Andre Johnson was severely limited by Carr and a bad system. Someone needs to convince me that Denver/Cutler will throw him the ball a lot more before I justify ranking him ahead of other surefire WRs.It also wouldn't hurt if Cutler improves, but I agree the major factor here is targets.

Andre Johnson was limited by Carr and a bad system, but he still produced WR18 numbers (WR11 in PPR), and I don't think anyone would argue that Denver's passing game is going to be anywhere near as putrid as Houston's was last season.Like I've said several times, if targets are your concern, you should put your mind at ease. Denver's as much as said that Walker is going to be the focal point of the offense, and they're walking the walk, too (once again, I mention the Ramsey signing).

Brandon Marshall got a lot more looks and stats once Cutler came on. The real question is was this by design in more 3 receiver sets, or did Cutler look for Marshall on his own?Either way, Walker will have more time to develop a relationship with Cutler and should post better numbers than last year.
So did Scheffler, but those are the guys he worked with most up to that point.

Right, and I have Walker ranked #16 at this juncture.
