Jeff Bridges has done some fantastic movies throughout his career. Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, The Last Picture Show, The Iceman Cometh, Starman, the True Grit remake, Seabiscuit, Iron Man...the list goes on and on.

However, what was his most iconic role? As Flynn in 'Tron', or The Dude in 'The Big Lebowski'?

Closer question is what is his second most iconic role. I don’t think Tron makes my top five.
Keeping in mind I asked for his 'most iconic' role, not necessarily his best performance in a role.

I'd like to see your top five.
Before clicking into the thread and I was thinking of Jeff Bridges’ roles, my head went something like The Big Lebowski, The Last Picture Show, True Grit, and Fabulous Baker Boys.

I’ve never seen Tron, which is probably why did it not even register as a thought for me.

Came here to make a roll joke but looks like that's jumped the shark

The dude has to be most iconic role/roll in cinematic history.

Now this is an interesting question. Off the top of my head:

The Dude
The Terminator
Indiana Jones
Darth Vader
Ellen Ripley
Marty McFly
