Does anyone think he might have a solid year?

Gruden does wonders with veteran QBs (gannon, brad johnson). Seattles secondary is a bit shaky and TB might implement some of the shotgun.

whats your take on him this week at seattle and for the season?

Boston, Galloway, Stovall, bounce back year for cadillac, improved oline (L.Pettigout)......

What's the Bucs O-line situation? I haven't followed them closely as I didn't end up with any Bucs, but I thought I recalled 2 of their linemen having gone down already?

They picked up Luke Pettigout in the offseason to shore up the left tackle spot.

I think he will have a bad season. TB has little talent. Garcia has struggled on bad teams before and i dont see the Bucs with more than 5-6 wins

The Buccaneers have looked fairly decent in their preseason games this year. The offense has been successful running the footbal with Cadillac in the few attempts he's had, and Garcia looks efficient running the team.

The O-lilne will be starting Jeremy Trueblood RT, Davin Joseph RG, John Wade C, Arron Sears LG, and Luke Petitgout LT. Trueblood and Joseph are second year players and are massive on the right side. Hopefully they've gelled together and will play well. If they do, it will bode well for Cadillac as I see most of the running being done over this side of the line. I feel like the offensive line is very underrated because of last season. Arron Sears, a rookie, and Petitgout look to be upgrades on the left side as well.

The quarterback situation Tampa was in last year can not be emphasized enough. Bruce Gradkowski could not keep defenses honest at all. This team faced nine men in the box every Sunday and Bruce could still not move the team. Garcia should have the ability to move the ball through the air effectively enough to let Carnell have some solid games on the ground. At 6'5 Maurice Stovall looks to be a viable red zone threat, and Joey Galloway is still one of the fastest receivers in the league. David Boston has been run on several end arounds in the preseason and looks very big and fairly fast. If his current legal situation shakes out he could have a productive year. Michael Clayton was very close to being cut and has had issues dropping passes in camp.

My feeling is that the Buccaneer offense can be about average this season.

As for their prospects against Seattle. If the Tampa defense is able to slow down Seattle's O, Cadillac could have a pretty good game running the ball. I think we've all seen how effective he can be if he receives 20-25 carries as evidenced by his productive games in his rookie season.

Tampa can keep this game close. I'll project 210 1-1 for Garcia and 90-1 for Carnell. I still feel Seattle will win 20-17 though.

I think Jeff Garcia 2007 is a poor man's version of Drew Brees 2006. I think he will far exceed expectations. How much exactly I don't know, but I have picked him up as my QB4 in a start 2 QB league.

The line is improved although Sears is a rookie we'll see.

Seattle against QB's last year.

3,523 yds. TD 22 INT 12

Not too impressed.

I'm thinking about goin with the Vet over Kitna this week at Oakland. I start 2 QB's and with Manning as my 1, it might be worth it to go with Garcia as 2.
