Harvey is fun to watch, but seeing him read the clues would be painful. 🤣
And they wouldn't have time for all of this facial expressions and side comments.

Trebek: "What is ..Topeka?"

Harvey: "What is <expands eyes> ....Topeka? <mumble> I don' even know where that is. It sure ain't in southern California."

I even read this in his voice!  Make this happen!

Holy cow, Jeopardy contestants may finally be using the correct betting strategy!

My biggest pet peeve (smart contestants who don't know the proper betting strategy and lose when they shouldn't) could end up being a thing of the past.

Twice in the last week and one more time in the last 3 weeks, I have seen a 3rd place contestant bet the proper amount (not their entire $ amount) and win by $1 (or have the potential to win by a $1 - one of them got the Final question correctly and won by $1,200, but if they missed it, would have won by $1).

Somehow the light bulb finally went on after 35 years!

This has kept me from yelling at the TV as much.  I doubbt it will last, but hope springs eternal.

Yes!  It baffles me that these people wouldn’t spend a day or two studying how to bet prior to going on the show.  It’s so critical.

If they don't being in someone new, it's an NBC show. Which means they'll stick with somebody already on their network.

That puts people like Howie, Ellen, and The Rock as prime candidates.
They have to put an intellectual in there.  Otherwise it just becomes another gimmicky, non-serious gameshow.

This just made me think of an idea.  One of the outdoorsy cable networks should have 'Redneck Jeopardy' hosted by Larry the Cable Guy.  Topics like Potent Potables would be replaced by 18-pack Beer you Take on Hunting Trips.

Should be either Ken or Brad.
Agreed.  If they went with pretty much anyone else from the recent Team tournament of dooshbags I think I would stop watching. They seemed to think we liked the "personalities" of Austin, Colby, Matt, Buzzy et al.

The problem is that the contestants would have a tough time knowing what name to call him on any given day.
I'm sure that we could come up with some good Tanner names to use.  ;)

I agree that Ken or Brad would be good, though Jennings is less showy and a little more likable.

Why wouldn’t she bet it all right there?  🤦🏽‍♂️
glad someone posted this.  why bother playing if you don’t understand the circumstances?

2 clues left and she bets 2000, leaving the game a runaway?  if she bets it all, she makes the champ bet.  likely the guy wins since he hit the final.

Current champ is a very strong player.

But is anyone else sick of her spastic button pushing on every question? It's really annoying.

The current champ is a strange gambling creeper, but he’s won 3 games and 133k and i think he sticks around a bit.

Will be interesting to see what happens when he inevitably gets one of his daily double double-up attempts wrong.  He's playing the odds, but if he busts it will be tough to rally back.  He's crazy smart though.

Thought this was a possibility last night.  Had 72k before double jeopardy, something i didn’t think possible.  Thought he’d go for an even 100k, but god bless.

I thought he was a returning player as I recognized him immediately. Then I remembered that I had seen him on The Chase. Amazing player.

Pretty easy to tell he is a professional gambler. I am going to guess he already has some stacks in the bank or maybe he's just an all in kind of guy.
