Sitch is not an athlete. He's a gym rat that works out, takes roids and injects synthol. I bet the kid has the stamina of a 2 year old and is probably slow on his pigeon toed feet. Plus he seems like the type that doesn't like to get physical as he's always avoiding situations. Ronnie, JWOWW!, Sammie, and Paulie would be their MVPs. I'd even take a wager on Vinny over Sitch.

Agreed. I think the Situation's athletic prowess is only slightly above Snickers. Just doesn't seem athletic at all. gym rat /= athlete

you guess wrong. I know people that love basketball, have played multiple times a week for 30 years and cant put it in the ocean. I'm sure he's not that bad, but he'd be an average athlete at best against the other steroid freaks that go on the RW/RR challenge.

I noticed in the "About Me" section that JWOWW studied to be a computer programmer for three years in college. I didn't see that one coming. Although apparently she did abandon her dreams to become a computer programmer to become a graphic designer.

- JWOW studying computer programming is a little interesting. She doesn't fit in with the typical compsci crowd
- Why does JWOW even bother wearing a shirt to the club? She is flaunting her breasts and is in your face about them.
- I think JWOW has some issues. Last episode she got drunk, puked in the club and punched The Situation when he didn't give her any attention. Feeling a little bad about what happened, she calls her boyfriend (lulz) and begins telling him about her night. The BF interjects by saying "You don't need to drink that much when you go out". JWOW completely flips out and screams "DON'T TELL ME HOW MUCH I SHOULD DRINK, YOU'RE NOT MY FATHER"
- And what is with her intro? "I rip a guys head off after I have sex with him" WTF this doesn't even make sense.
- On the same note, does Snooki wear any underwear to the club? Why is her ###### area constantly blurred?
- I initially liked Vinny but now I'm not certain anymore. Sexing The Situation's sister is kind of a dbag move.
- I want to like Ronnie, but I just can't because of Sammy. Who falls in love at the Jersey Shore, especially with that thing? Ronnie needs to get the hell out of it. He needs to take the ONE SHOT BRO mentality with Sammy and leave her.
- Sammy is probably my least favorite person on the show. She is not hot enough for the crazy crap she puts everyone through.
- Her "I'm the sweetest ##### you will ever meet" is stupid. UM HELLO? Sweet and ##### are opposites! It doesn't make any sense. It's like Black ice.
- I think the big problem with the girls they cast is that they try to act like someone who they are not and you can see this with their intros. Don't act smart when you aren't really smart to begin with. This happens somewhat with Snooki too but she is less harmful than the other two girls. Her intro "I'M GOING TO THE JERSEY SHORE #####!" is simple and elegant.
- It is funny seeing "UM HELLO!?" girl trying to cash in on the Jersey Shore's popularity.
- Pauly D is the man. He knows what his strengths are and he plays to them. In hindsight it was a very smart decision for him to drop JWOW early on. Him and Mike knew what element they were in and how to act. They are cashing in now big time because of it.
- Don't really like everyone bagging on Mike. Sammy calling him all arms and small body was uncalled for. For someone who is so emotionally sensitive about her ####### toe, you'd think she would know not to touch on a soft spot for Mike (his body). They're all mean spirited towards Mike (except Pauly D...cuz those two are brahs) so he starts dishing it out too. His fat joke at Snooki was funny. Everyone flips out. Ronnie being ##### whipped automatically starts yelling THAT'S NOT COOL BRO!!!
- It would be interesting to see how the cast behaves in a different environment. Take them and drop em in Italy.

Lost track of this thread for a bit but Sammi is a Division 1 athlete isnt she. She plays Soccer. I think she is more athletic then Coral or Beth.
Anyway, I missed the season finale. Have it on DVR.

So why the surprise? What difference does it make if he's from New Jersey, Rhode Island or New Mexico?Sadly, that's how many of the people here in R.I. act/speak.
Because the belief is that they are all Italians from NEW YORK. I would say that most of America would guess that he was from NY, not Rhode Island.

To someone not from the northeast, the R.I. accent sounds similar to the N.Y. accent.EVERY time I go to Florida, people ask if I'm from New York. But I definitely, unquestionably, see the difference in dialect between people here and native New Yorkers. People in R.I. sound nothing like Mike Francesa from WFAN, for example. He's on the air now if you wanna listen.

New Yorkers make it sound like "noynnne".EDIT: If you are ONLY referring to his looks, well... I don't know anyone silly enough to assume EVERYONE who is Italian or has "blown out" hair has to be from N.Y.
