**Jets at Rams -17 (44.5)** (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to injure yourself from laughing too hard?  Because I fear for my personal well-being if the Jets piss away the number one pick here.  :lmao:

McVay is just overrated. I don't care what the defensive scheme is. You scheme to get your best players (Woods and Kupp) the ball.

He fails at it. He thinks he is smarter than everyone else.

Exactly,  not sure why kupp signed extension to stay there. But I guess money is money. Mcvay is clueless

He reminds me of Rex Ryan. Would rather prove he is smarter than everyone than call basic high success probability plays.

I don't agree.  Goff is not very good, and McVay is squeezing every ounce of good play out of him, but some weeks you just can't control the bad Goff from coming out.

Agreed, Goff doesn't cut it.  But I also faulted McVay for lack of preparation vs. Jets, whom he should not had taken for granted.

Classic let down. The lines were getting their asses whipped. It always starts in the trenches. McVay and the player leaders are responsible. This one really hurts

How many more years of goff do they have to endure. How incompetent can a team be to piss away that much money on what's essentially a backup qb at best

I’m sticking with my theory the Rams threw the game to matchup with the WFT/NYG.
Yes, all 75+ players/coaches were all in on it that they were going to lose the game on purpose, and all 75+ of them will never talk about this for the rest of their lives.

All so that they can travel across the country to NY/WAS for an away cold playoff game rather than hosting one, or even possibly getting the bye.

C'mon man.

I thought the Rams threw the game to punish the Jets for Namath failing to lead the Rams to the Super Bowl when be left the Jets to go there.

Agree to disagree then.

The true great offensive minds scheme to feed their best players. Once the NFL (Patricia of all people) figured out how to stop the Rams offense, McVay has been stuck.

The 3rd down play to Akers was a horrible call. You feed Wood and Kupp. The 4th down play was maybe worse.
