Did they say something that wasn't correct? Everything seemed about right to me.....I guess in Boston you guys would just give them a hug and tell them it'll be alright?
Not sure if you realize, but Pats / Jets is a rivalry. I doubt any Boston fan would be offering Jets players a hugI guess in Boston you guys would just give them a hug and tell them it'll be alright?
If the Pats were 4-6, there wouldn't be any Pats fans there.I guess in Boston you guys would just give them a hug and tell them it'll be alright?
That's true. You couldn't find one Patriots fan before the Super Bowl win.If the Pats were 4-6, there wouldn't be any Pats fans there.I guess in Boston you guys would just give them a hug and tell them it'll be alright?
Or stop paying for one of the worst products in the league.Anger at least shows caring. More teams than not have fans that would just be apathetic at this point. Not sure what you expect them to do? Be happy they suck? You can say the fans won't put on the pads but they are the ones shelling out hundreds of dollars to pay these guys. The least they could do is show some heart.
Why? I thought it was an interesting contribution and am thankful he provided the link. And no, I'm not a Jets or Pats fan.:IBTL:
This guy gets it.I see nothing wrong with what they said. It was harsh no doubt, but those fans pay a huge per game amount for their season tickets and that team is a perennial circus. Bunch of whiny underachievers. Jets fans watch their giant fan friends enjoying being fans of a well run organization and it makes them seethe even more. Big changes need to happen for that team from management down to the players.
I thought those fans went kind of easy on the players, all things considered.
God I hope so.The funniest part was how when they see Tebow they say "Save us Tebow." Wonder if they'll boo golden boy when/if he gets his shot...
This is true. It's easy to be a Giants fan (or for Mets fans, becoming a Yankees supporter), but the true diehards won't abandon ship.If a championship ever does happen, it will be that much sweeter.Have to give them credit for sticking with the Jets. They could jump ship to the Giants and enjoy pro football again.
It's tiresome hearing all the "Tebow" chanting at the stadium.Sanchez is a disappointment, but those that think that Tebow is the answer are very myopic in their thinking. The funniest part was how when they see Tebow they say "Save us Tebow." Hey I'm a Lions fan fan who's never seen squat in my lifetime, you guys at least got Joe Willie somewhat more recently. This is true. Barry's career might be = to a SB win.Hey I'm a Lions fan fan who's never seen squat in my lifetime, you guys at least got Joe Willie somewhat more recently. This is true. Born just a few months before Super Bowl III, so I was probably listening to "Yummy Yummy Yummy" instead.Hey I'm a Lions fan fan who's never seen squat in my lifetime, you guys at least got Joe Willie somewhat more recently. This is true. Hey Jet fans, take noteshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsXPZVPIjxE

This guy gets it.As much as I admire loyal fans they are only hurting themselves in the long run. Stay away and teach them the only way they understand (less money in their pockets). Cubs & Maple Leafs fans may want to take that advice also.If they really wanted to show their frustration, they would just stop going to the games. That would make a bigger impact than yelled words.
I agree for the most part.Unfortunately, it's not as easy for those who bought PSLs for the "privilege" of their seats at the new stadium. And the number of PSL seats is pretty high. The team smartly locked people into paying a big upfront fee for their seats, so unless you can sell the license (unlikely now), by not going, you're basically eating a big fee. So it forces you to go to feel like you got something for the PSL.This guy gets it.As much as I admire loyal fans they are only hurting themselves in the long run. well what can you say the team stinks and it is a lot like people and there dogs yuo know how a person will look like there dog well bam there you have it stinky team equals stinky fans it reminds me a lot of when i have to clean some fish you had a good time catching them but brohan now comes the work and the scales all over and the guts and so on that reminds me of mark sanchezos passes they are flaky fly all over and if they had smell you know it would be bad so take that to the bank bromigos
Reminds me of why some couples don't get divorced, too much invested already.Staying home might be more effective for non-season ticket holders and those who buy on stub-hub etc...I agree for the most part.Unfortunately, it's not as easy for those who bought PSLs for the "privilege" of their seats at the new stadium. Do the Jets and Giants share the revenue or do they get all of the income from their own games? I read the Jets have slightly higher ticket prices than the Giants. But I don't know if they share revenue or not.I agree for the most part.Unfortunately, it's not as easy for those who bought PSLs for the "privilege" of their seats at the new stadium. Not really sure, but the Jets should be forced to fork it all over to their stadium brethren. That would do more damage to Woody than anything.Do the Jets and Giants share the revenue or do they get all of the income from their own games? The joke will quickly resurrect itself when Brady retires. They've been winning for years now, but that fan base will disappear as they have historically when the team is done with the Brady era. That said, you might get another SB ring, maybe two before then... unless of course you face the Giants. To the Jets, anyone who thinks this is a weak fan base doesn't know the Jets nor their fans. Jets fans are generally more rabid than Giants fans (and annoyingly so at times). They always have false hope and yet are pessimistic, its a hell of a combination, but Jets fans by and large have seen very little success with a few good years thrown in for good measure. Both historically and recently they are overshadowed by the Giants - winning, tradition, larger fan base. But most Jets fans I know are there through thick and thin. Although the Tebow thing and the recent moves that seem less to do with football and more to do with marketing are beginning to wear on even the diehards. If the Pats were 4-6, there wouldn't be any Pats fans there.I guess in Boston you guys would just give them a hug and tell them it'll be alright? That joke died in about 1993. It's approaching 20yrs now that the Pats have kept a pretty packed house. They are now the the #1 team in the region by a pretty wide margin.
Full disclosure...I am a Jets fan. I try not be be biased. As far as the Pats go, we will see. I think there is a good chance that when Brady is done, so is Belicheck. In most cases this would be a disaster, but future will rest on Robert Kraft. Right now, he is thought of as one of the top owners in the league, so they could still attract a top notch coach and FAs and fall into the abyss of mediocrity...time will tell. But, there is a mentality in Boston, and really NJ up on North, where football is not a priority. Think about this; From NJ up to VT, there is not one good college football team (I guess Rutgers is good now, but as a man whose father has been a professor there for 45 years, there were many more lean days than good ones). Basketball and baseball are God, minus the Giants fans...each team has its core (including my Jets), but I could have bought an army season tickets before Parcells came, and even now, if I was a billionaire, I could buy a ton of season tix today. We also look at Brady as the starting point in NE, but we forget, probably because he was so consistent, but not "great", is that Bledsoe sits in the top 10 in career passing yards..think about it, when Brady retires, NE will have a "perfect"...not one game missed during...transition between a "Hall of Very Good" and a HOF QB over a 20+ year time frame. That is better than the transition between Montana and Young. And even SF died out when Garcia left. So I think NE, like the Jets need a good team to keep the fans beyond the core group, just because football does not "move the people" like it does in Green Bay or even a state like TN.As far as the Jets fans in the video go, they are certainly not helping their team...nothing better than going into the locker room at half-time and having your coach and players feel crapped on. They are professionals, so imagine if you are a software engineer and the CEO walks in on you and the CIO during a "go live" and tells you that you are poop...with an hour to pull it together. I know it is not the best comparison and these people paid money to do what they want, but if what they really want is for the team to go in the right direction, it is the wrong way going about it.The joke will quickly resurrect itself when Brady retires. That is literally half the time spent as a programmer is being yelled at by your boss, who in most cases doesn't know wtf he is talking about.Although I agree, they are definitely not helping at all, they need to just stop going to the games. As far as the Jets fans in the video go, they are certainly not helping their team...nothing better than going into the locker room at half-time and having your coach and players feel crapped on.
