JRE Podcast w/Dr. Peter McCullough - MUST WATCH (For the Open-Minded) (1 Viewer)

My goodness what an amazing long-form interview, covering so much of what has gone sideways with societal Covid policy. This is a must listen/watch for anyone out there who actually wants to explore and consider all sides and angles of this issue...

It's been banned on SpewTube, Twatter, Fakebook, so you'll need to access the Joe Rogan Podcast episode directly on Spotify. It's available on their free platform, but you'll need to register for a Spotify account. The video version is only available on mobile devices from what I can tell, but you can listen to the audio version from your computer... Spotify.com

WARNING: the information presented by Dr. McCullough in this interview is mind-blowing. Many here won't like it at all b/c it'll challenge so many of their dug-in narratives. Many here will surely try to attack me and/or Dr. McCullough for conveying this to you. Listen to the interview and decide for yourselves whether or not it's worth your time. I'm listening to hour 3 (of 2:45) now and it's beyond worth your time IMHO.

You post nonsense like this about once a week.

McCullough is a discredited hack.   After Baylor fired him for spreading misinformation about Covid, it sued him and won to keep him from claiming he was affiliated with their school since he is such an embarrassment his claim that he was still affiliated with them damaged its reputation.

You spend three hours listening to discredited conspiracy theories?  No wonder you post so much of this trash.

Holy ####, at ~2:19:00, Dr. McCullough reveals that someone had tried to assassinate him with a sniper attack from afar. Thank God, he survived and was able to film this session for posterity. Wowzers at that revelation. One of several in this interview that made me stop working and rewind to listen again.

On cue. Well done, fishman.

Some of McCullough's claims which have been proven false:

Asymptomatic people cannot spread Covid

Vaccinations cause spike proteins to circulate throughout a person’s body and can potentially lead to death.

Covid patients under 50 not only don't need vaccines, they don't even need treatment.

Don't listen to the message, folks, because Fishman doesn't like the messenger!!

Now do fauci..

He also claims that the vaccines cause virus mutations, which was also proven false.

He and others make the argument that leaky vaccines give rise to mutations that escape vaccine block. There's compelling evidence for that - what you are referring to is the strawman counter that vaccines cause the mutations directly. That's not what they are saying, but you are twisting their message into something else, in order to try to disprove their position. Marek's vaccine analog is a great real-world example of how vaccine-escape leads to the rise of adaptively selected variants, particularly in the cases of leaky vaccines.

  What

I know but find it humorous that people are so quick to discredit someone for getting something wrong when every expert has been wrong at some point on covid.  Great win Monday night....
Wrong vs pushing pseudoscience that has already been disproven?  You see the difference, right?

Sure I understand that. But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t people that deserve to be discredited. Not claiming this doctor is the one blah blah blah. I’m just saying that just like LF is waiting for people to criticize this alternative thinking the second somebody brings up cogent argument about the alternative thinking the conversation gets distracted again by bringing up a different persons mistakes.

Huge huge huge win. Feel like that is a season turning win honestly.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see an outcry to spotify to censor this

This guy isn't just getting things wrong, or relying on shifting information as studies come in.   He's pushing groundless conspiracies and blatant falsehoods.   There's a reason Baylor won their lawsuit against him and has a restraining order against him ordering him not to claim he's got any affiliation with the school.   He's an embarrassment.

No doubt the regulars will want to CANCEL any alternate views, but, grownups can state claims the DR has made and discuss and make up our own minds.  I'll start.  He claims a John Hopkins SARS Pandemic Scenario was more than just a training exercise.  You can find info about the SARS Pandemic Scenario here, and a link to download the book.

Argument for:  Chapter 4

Following limited evidence of success in treating SPARS patients with Kalocivir, the FDA issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for this drug as a SPARS therapeutic in the United States. While Kalocivir had a positive impact against SPARS, preliminary data indicated it also caused intense stomach cramping in a statistically significant number of adult cases. Additionally, while initial hopes had been that Kalocivir would, in addition to treating the disease, prevent or reduce transmission, this was not the case. Nevertheless, due to high public demand for access to viable SPARS treatments, public health and healthcare agencies drew from existing SNS inventories of Kalocivir (several million doses) until further production of the drug could begin.
Just the first paragraph, but, the FDA issues an EUA for a treatment that is not particularly effective with side effects.  It goes on to explain (you can read it for yourself) how the message through the news and social media diverge from everyone wanting to take the medicine to individual groups looking for natural cures and resistance from interest groups because the drug was "untested".

The first food for thought in the exercise is to figure out how to advert potential inconsistent messaging about it's safety and efficacy:

How could pre-crisis partnerships and alliances have averted the potential for inconsistent messaging around Kalocivir safety and efficacy? What are the potential effects of unaligned official messages about MCM safety and efficacy?
While I find it a worthwhile exercise in forethought to figure out how to spread a consistent message, I find it more than curious that they chose to do it for a drug that "didn't prevent or reduce transmission"  and had a "statistically signification number" of side effects.

In short, they practiced how to provide a consistent message that it was safe and effective even though the drug wasn't particularly safe or effective.

Not to mention every time he's on TV, Fauci was an embarrassment when he lied to congress.

Oh man - I am ready to get my mind blown!!

:hitsplay:
Enjoy your journey into ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, false claims of being retained by multiple governments, and references to studies that were pulled by journals.  Of the misinformation spread by the "disinformation dozen" this guy is the source of a lot of it.

Hey man, some of us are open to getting our minds blown.  ;)

"... the McCullough protocol, which has now been copyrighted ...". Hmmmm. I see why he is so invested in this treatment.

delta variant came from India....before they instituted their vaccine program.  leaky vaccine theory fail.

junk science from a proven fraud.

Lol. Joe tells him that his friend has had covid twice and he tells him "nope, you're wrong, not possible". I guess you can't be proven wrong if you just don't accept evidence that proves you wrong.

Makes you wonder he was like this before he went to medical school or whether he just went off the rails at a later date.   Seems weird to study medicine but not believe in accepted science or fact-based logic.

It really is fascinating to watch how political affiliation seems to determine whether you are open to and/or defend this guy vs. calling him a hack or a fraud.

perhaps one group is just more gullible.  there's a reason so many on the right have defended lawsuits by claiming "no reasonable person would believe what I say"

This is the exact same argument made by flat earthers, evolution skeptics, climate change doubters, and Holocaust deniers. Why aren’t we willing to listen to alternative views??
also Lin Wood, Sydney Powell, Alex Jones, Tucker Carlson, and Sean Hannity.

A big Joe Rogan fan and love his interviews.  Also a big Sam Harris fan.  Here’s what Sam Harris thinks about the Joe Rogan Dr Peter interview. Pretty long video attached to this as well.

Thanks for posting that video. That guy skewers conspiracy theories, anti-vaxxers, censorship, mandates and big tech. Everyone should be able to find something to like about that video. 🙂

I honestly would love to read @LawFitz response to this video, since he is such a big fan of the Rogan interview.

Well done, boys.

Why bring politics into it?

Either he's a hack and a fraud (he is) or he's not.

Truth still exists and if one side abandons it, it's not a "both sides" thing.
