Demaryius has been in double digits every week in PPR. Even in his quiet weeks he gets 5 catches for 50 yards.
OK...and what does that have to do with Blackmon?
EBF was responding to an earlier post. The last 5 to 10 posts were off the original topic of Blackmon. People started talking about WRs you can count on every week and worry little about bad weeks from.
Nice if he could have taken the two seconds to quote it, so we would all know what he was responding to.
or you read any of the thread...

I shouldn't have to read all 4 pages to figure out what someone is responding to that is off topic, when all they have to do is hit the quote box.

Wow, Dodds has Blackmon #2 ranked WR this week in standard scoring. That is aggressive. I can see the reasoning though. Henne in at QB and 3.75 quarters of garbage time passing.

Denver's also given up the most passing yards per game. (Of course, they are always forcing other teams to throw, but still, that is the trend.)

Decisions, decisions. I have one of those weeks where I don't know who to start at WR, but it's a good decision. Blackmon and Shorts might be worth starts this week. Could I bench AJ Green for both of those guys?

Pick your pony. I wouldn't feel comfortable depending on two Jags in my lineup regardless of who they're playing. Especially with a talent like Green--even if underperforming.

I dunno, I'm playing against Blackmon this week and I like that Shorts is out. The Broncos secondary can now concentrate fully on Blackmon as the Jaguars one true offensive weapon. Think Jax might have to look elsewhere often.

I don't know about that, I can't see Denver paying any more attention to Blackmon than they did to Dez Bryant last week. And that didn't seem to stop Dez from having a monster game.

Granted, but there's a lot more Dallas firepower to chase around the field than a Shorts-less (<- heh) Jags team.

The good news is that the Broncos already allow a lot of passing yards, and they'll likely be sitting their starters by the 3rd quarter. That gives plenty of garbage time against backup players.

I didn't realize it was just practice. Back in the lineup... Sort of. We have a rule for home field advantage. Each home team can pair two players at the same position. Whichever scores more, is put in the lineup. Going to start Marshall, Blackmon and Green and pair Shorts with Green.

Starting Gordon but wondering how much Champ's return might affect this.

Not discounting your train of thought, but there are two differences to me. 1) the Dallas offense in general and Romo in particular are more formidable than the Jacksonville offense and Henne. 2) Champ is back and if fully healthy, that will definitely affect things.

Really really interesting rule. I kind of love it. :tebow:

very interesting. Is there a website that automatically scores this?

I, for one, am glad when people do NOT always hit the quote button - often quoting a longgggg thread to put a simple short comment at the bottom.

If more folks used a little more discretion and/or took a few extra seconds to snip out the parts of a quote that are not relevant to their reply, many 4-page threads would only be 1 or perhaps 2 page threads making them a good bit easier to read thru it.

he was the one player i really wanted in my keeper league draft as i rebuild.

i waited until the 4th or 5th round (of 6) and snuck him in.

hate having two jags (mjd) but this guy is good.

How did this work out for you?

Where do you rank him redraft going forward? He looks clearly top 10 to me, top 5 debatable. I watched the game today and he was unstoppable.

I have seen enough. Time to upgrade a spot and move a more named WR and leave Blackmon in at that WR2 spot. .

Yup, I'm heading in the same direction. Going to see if I can move Larry Fitzgerald after his solid game today and let Blackmon slide into his spot in my lineup.
