It's more of a desperation play/stash, but I picked up Forsett last night (Tate already rostered). I looked at all of the FA RB's and the bottom line is that Forsett has passed the eye test every time I've seen him. The Houston O-Line is not as dominant as last year. Foster, while having a very good year especially on the TD front, is having to earn every single yard. Last year he was getting 3 yards past the line of scrimmage before being touched. This year many more hits at the line of scrimmage. Haven't checked but I'm sure YPC is down. Forsett looks very quick, hits the hole. Some FF writers write him off like he was a total scrub at Seattle. He was not - he had some very, very good stretches there. With the way the line is blocking, I think Forsett would be more successful than Tate, especially between the 20's. While Forsett passes the eye test, and has a high YPC even without the blown call in Detroit, he may not pass the opportunity test. Foster would have to get nicked for him to get any significant carries. But sometimes opportunity doesn't translate into production (see that POS Jennings). If he continues to produce I think it will be harder for Tate to steal his carries. We'll see.
