Anybody else think that Justin Tuck is not the player he once was? Not impressed tonight in the least.
Normally I'd agree, but by the looks of things Tuck spent quite a bit of time on the sideline in the game and he appeared to be pouting whenever he was off. Maybe there's something to this'SproutDaddy said:Typical week 1 over-reaction.
Trivia question - when was the last time this happened?Answer, their worst loss of last year, @ New Orleans. Might be the key to beating the G-men.'DarkKnightsGuru said:seriously none of the giants line has a sack . Osi , Tuck or Pierre relax
Yup he played over 70% of the snaps, which really is all you can ask for out of your DL; so I don't think his benching for 16 snaps is all that big of a deal. Having said that, when he was on the field I thought he really looks slow and not as explosive as he was in previous years. Maybe it was just because he was playing Carolina, but he appeared to just be happy enough to sit back and contain Newton instead of going to sack him on a lot of plays. There were 59 defensive snaps in the Giants/Panthers game last Thursday. Same here. I'm sticking with Cole, but am dumping Tuck. It's only a 2 DL IDP lineup, so there are plenty of good players out there. Heck, I might even dump Cole. Couple of bums so far.He has been putting up poor numbers all yr. Also have Trent Cole. Drafted them both expecting big numbers and so far nothing. Should I consider a different DL option, or stick it out?
Well, in that case....*inserts back into starting lineup*Not really though. Still can't do it.Heads up he is out of my lineup for the first time this season so expect a 6 tackle 3 sack Forced Fumble day this sunday!
Haha of course I benched him today
I cut him. Figures..
