I know 3 weeks is a very small sample size, but we were able to see some of these guys have to offer....
Who do you think will be the more successful RB:
1) This year
2) From 2010 on (for Dynasty Purposes).
Interesting to see your takes on these 2.
1) Moreno2) Moreno

Donald Brown is going to be the best RB of the 2009 class, by far..this guy is going to take over the Colts starting RB duties at some point this season..going forward, he's going to be the workhorse RB the Colts have been looking for..Brown has already proven to his doubters that he can play at the pro level..he's going to be an absolute stud in future years. Addai won't be back in a Colts uni in '10..like we've said before, in Bill Polian we trust. he didn't draft Brown to split with Addai, he drafted him to
REPLACE Addai..
Moreno , thus far, cannot stay healthy and just as we all feared, he's deeply embroiled in a RBBC with Buckhalter and the other Denver RB's ( Hillis, etc).as long as Josh 'I love RBBC' McDaniels is calling the shots, Moreno is nothing more than a
10-15 carry/week guy..
going forward, Moreno is another Ray Rice or Derrick Ward ('08), i.e., a between the 20's RB, while Buckhalter steals his thunder as the redzone RB..( exactly what McGahee is to Ray Rice).
a whole lot of wrong here.1. Moreno can't stay healthy - I'm not sure you should be drawing that conclusion based on 3 games, which, coincidentally, Moreno has not missed.
2. Moreno has had >15 carries in 2/3 of his career games...not sure how you conclude that he will be a career 10-15 carry/week guy. The data doesn't bear that out.
3. Buckhalter steals carries in the redzone - I'm not sure where you got that from, but it's patently untrue. The rotation right now is "rotate by possession, and if someone gets the hot hand, go with them". In fact, looking at he last two games, Moreno has 2x as many red zone carries as Buckhalter.

1-10-OAK18 (1:08) L.Jordan up the middle to OAK 18 for no gain (R.Brown).
2-10-OAK18

22) K.Orton kneels to OAK 19 for -1 yards.
totals:
Moreno - 10
Buckhalter - 5
Hilis - 3
Jordan - 2
Orton - 1
IMO, this RZ split is pretty telling. Looking at the whole drives, there were times in the oak game where Buck came out and Moreno came in to finish out the drive. If anything, McD seems to trust Moreno more than Buck in the RZ.
