Kansas City at Houston (6 Viewers)

This is a mature take (honestly) and I sort of agree with you but so many people live vicariously through sports teams and athletes.  Watt is the best defensive player in the league and a huminatarian.  What did you expect the reaction would be?
i remember when i was an adolescent and i was probably an even bigger fan of the Eagles back then (you know as a kid, watching games with family, etc.). i remember when Jerome Brown died. and this is death, and other guy's on the team i idolized were crying because of the loss. that hurt and hit home, and i think all were sad about it.

i get the frustration from JJ and the comparison with Kuechly is a good one. I'm a big MMA guy and you see guys work their asses off, and rehab from an injury only to get hurt again. those really hurt because fighters literally lose their income for a year, etc. i'm sure this frustrates Watt, and i feel for him, but he will be back and maybe i'm not hit by it because things could be a lot worse for him

but i'm not up to lead the charge with this counter point either, just thought i would answer. honestly don't think anything less of someone who may cry, i just don't understand it

When I wrote that KC didn't appear to have any weaknesses- maybe inside running defense?
It’s among them. But they’re giving them that stuff. Hopefully not for 25 yards per play but you won’t see them selling out at the risk of getting bombed on. It’s kind of ugly, but it seems to work. Most weeks I wonder if opponents will expose it, but most weeks they just make mistakes and play into KC’s hands.

I was worrying Hopkins was gonna be another Andre Johnson or Larry Fitz rotting on a team with no QB his whole career. Good to see him flourishing with Watson.

Hard to say that was a great call - the guy made his commitment to tackle a tall big TE while he was in the air and he was going low. he hit his head a few feet above ground and it looked more like a collision of heads then a targeting.

Looked like he dropped his helmet into him.
