He won me a game tonight. However, his tackle numbers seem to be down while Thornton's are up. Any reason?

He is being used in Pass Coverage alot. Thornton is staying closer to the line while Bulluck is dropping back therefore Thornton is getting all the runs and short passes.....Saints only ran the ball like 16 times in the game.....Bullucks tackles will come when he plays against better running teams. Good to see him still scoring though even though.

I tend to agree with this, although I still think it's hard to believe that in 2/3 games he's had less than 5 total tackles. As Jene posted in another thread, TEN D has faced a ridiculously low amount of offensive plays, especially running, and the numbers are so low that it's bound to change.Those INT's were nice, but didn't help me as I benched him due to his slow start (and anticipated NO passing) for a 3 tackle performance by Lofa Dropped Lofa for Kirk Morrison, but after the bye, I don't think Bullock ever even smells pine the rest of the season unless he puts up multiple duds and the tackle #'s continue or Morrison has a much better matchup.

Can anyone comment on this weekends game vs Atlanta? Is Bulluck still dropping into a lot of pass coverage? I'm seriously thinking about trading or dropping him. That's 2 crappy games out of 4. He had 2 single digit games in my league last year the entire season.

He dropped into coverage a fair amount in the 2nd half. I missed the first half. I think he may have been dropping back more because the Falcons RBs weren't doing much. I would have liked to see him rush the passer more, but he's versatile enough to do anything asked of him, and in this game, he was a middle level pass defender for much of it.
