What would it take for an owner to pry KJ from your kung fu grip?
I am a KJ owner and am thrilled that he is back and producing...but 75 rushing yards and a td doesn't quite qualify for rb1 stats to me. I would look to Ronnie Brown owners right about now and try and extort them with KJ.Given that KJ's already producing RB1 fantasy stats without being 100%, I'd need a top 10 back and, depending on the back, possibly a draft pick (PPR dynasty).
The way RBs are dropping left and right this year, I'd need a lot. What would it take for an owner to pry KJ from your kung fu grip?
I'm thinking Ronnie Brown owners would take you up awful fast on that.I am a KJ owner and am thrilled that he is back and producing...but 75 rushing yards and a td doesn't quite qualify for rb1 stats to me. Wowi was offered CJ and turn it down.![]()
What WR1 could you get for him?In one league that starts 2 WR, 2 RB and 1 WR/RB flex I've got AD, MB III, Jacobs, and Kevin Jones as my running backs. Gonna see how they pan out over the next couple weeks and use one of them to upgrade at WR for the home stretch. Given the RB landscape this season I would expect to get a WR1 in return for Jones.
That would be 16 Tds and 1200 yards rushing. Plus 3-400 receiving. I will take that.I am a KJ owner and am thrilled that he is back and producing...but 75 rushing yards and a td doesn't quite qualify for rb1 stats to me. I can see this. CJ is having some issues and KJ would be a top 10-12 overall pick if the draft were held today. No way he goes past 15. Same can not be said about CJ.Wowi was offered CJ and turn it down.![]()

Dude with KJ's catching skills in PPR leagues. He's an automatic start against any defense. I've been trying to find the right match for one player I consider him fair value for and that is Gates. But considering I already have Winslow, I'd be more inclinded to do a 2 for 2 deal and upgrade to a strong WR1 like Moss. This Kung Fu grip is like Iron.BTW looking at Detroit's SOS his next couple weeks are cake and then he hits a brutal stretch in weeks 12-17. Those looking to deal him may want to consider holding and then selling high around week 10 or 11.

You are correct, sir. And for PPR leagues, KJ would be on a 96 reception/season pace as well. Not bad for an outing that wouldn't 'qualify' as RB1 stats. That would be 16 Tds and 1200 yards rushing. Plus 3-400 receiving. I will take that.I am a KJ owner and am thrilled that he is back and producing...but 75 rushing yards and a td doesn't quite qualify for rb1 stats to me. You in a 6 man PPR league?I am thinking about moving him and Andre Johnson for Steve Smith and Ahman. I am in a PPR and my team is already RB heavy with Bush, Westy and AP.
That otta make the other owner happy. When healthy, AJ=Smith IMO, and Ahman is nothing more than KJ's waterboy.I am thinking about moving him and Andre Johnson for Steve Smith and Ahman. I am in a PPR and my team is already RB heavy with Bush, Westy and AP.
Week 8 @ Chicago Week 9 Denver Week 10 @ Arizona Week 11 NY Giants Week 12 Green Bay Week 13 @ Minnesota Week 14 Dallas Week 15 @ San Diego Week 16 Kansas CityIm holding, the guy is fresh, he looked GOOD, and Im not looking at it at the moment but arent his games during the playoffs good matchups?
Here is the thought process of an owner who is trying to sell him.I am a KJ owner in a 12-team league along with MacGahee, Bush and Gore in a start 2 WR/2RBs with one flex.I have nothing at TE or QB because I waited too long in the draft. My WRs are TJHush, JGalloway, CalJohnson and Andre Davis. Here is the trade I proposed to the SJax/RBrown owner who is amazingly still in the hunt:K JonesJ GallowayDonald LeeforEliReggie WayneOwen DanielsI'm losing over all big time if KJ goes off like he can when healthy, but I feel like Eli is a solid week-to-week guy and I think Owen Daniels is currently decent with potential to be a stud. R Wayne is a huge upgrade and I don't really have a need for an extra back. That BEING SAID: this could be the single most guppy move I have ever made if KJ goes off as much as I think he can in that offense. Even if he only gets 15 touches a game, he'll still catch another 7-8 which is straight sick in PPR.I would argue that you would not be trading him at a high point.. IMO, that has yet to come this season.

Ha no. 9th pick in 10 person league and got Peterson in the 4th. Luck with all the injuries.Thinking I should hold onto KJ now with all the positive words. You in a 6 man PPR league?I am thinking about moving him and Andre Johnson for Steve Smith and Ahman. Will you respond to mine if I respond to your's and leave a link?in a keeper league and have been offered Holt and LT for KJ, Bush and Moss. Not sure if I should take this deal
Was that supposed to be funny? I answered the thread but didn't want to hijack it. If I had, you probably would have been all over me for doing that. If you don't want to offer an opinion on my trade offer, don't click on my link. plain and simple. Will you respond to mine if I respond to your's and leave a link?in a keeper league and have been offered Holt and LT for KJ, Bush and Moss. I'm in a similar situation, KJ, LT, Bush and ADP. Also Graham and Leonard for bye weeks for now. I almost offered him straight for Gates, but I also have Heap and Olsen, figure KJ + Heap for Gates and a decent WR could work.I need an upgrade at WR3 now that Walker is out; AJ, Plaxico and Calvin / Roddy White doesn't quite cut it especially as AJ is out.I am thinking about moving him and Andre Johnson for Steve Smith and Ahman.
