Kevin Jones Owners (1 Viewer)

Given that KJ's already producing RB1 fantasy stats without being 100%, I'd need a top 10 back and, depending on the back, possibly a draft pick (PPR dynasty).

I am a KJ owner and am thrilled that he is back and producing...but 75 rushing yards and a td doesn't quite qualify for rb1 stats to me. I would look to Ronnie Brown owners right about now and try and extort them with KJ.

I've got him in many leagues. Depending on team makeup, I'm either starting him or I'm standing pat with my RBs and using KJ to upgrade at WR. I'm looking for a WR1 type for him.

I'm thinking Ronnie Brown owners would take you up awful fast on that.

In a limited roster league, I've been hanging onto KJ in hopes of ultimately having top 10 numbers in a weak overall RB corps. Now that he's starting to pan out--I've got no intentions of shopping him. I hope with some good performances he can solve what otherwise has been one of my primary concerns.

KJ owners should also be quite happy with the Lions success. If the Lions can win by controlling the clock and running the football in clutch situations, KJ's value will continue to rise.

LMAO Very :drive:

SA and Gore owner. Been waiting patiently all year for him to return. It is going to take a very good offer for me to trade him. SA meet bench.

In one league that starts 2 WR, 2 RB and 1 WR/RB flex I've got AD, MB III, Jacobs, and Kevin Jones as my running backs. Gonna see how they pan out over the next couple weeks and use one of them to upgrade at WR for the home stretch.

Given the RB landscape this season I would expect to get a WR1 in return for Jones.

Got him dirt cheap in my dynasty league this past off season (2.5% of total salary cap). He's the reason I'm going to be able to trade away some other RB depth. Holding tight for the next 5 years.

What WR1 could you get for him?

That would be 16 Tds and 1200 yards rushing. Plus 3-400 receiving. I will take that.

BTW looking at Detroit's SOS his next couple weeks are cake and then he hits a brutal stretch in weeks 12-17. Those looking to deal him may want to consider holding and then selling high around week 10 or 11.

Dude with KJ's catching skills in PPR leagues. He's an automatic start against any defense. I've been trying to find the right match for one player I consider him fair value for and that is Gates. But considering I already have Winslow, I'd be more inclinded to do a 2 for 2 deal and upgrade to a strong WR1 like Moss. This Kung Fu grip is like Iron.

You are correct, sir. And for PPR leagues, KJ would be on a 96 reception/season pace as well. Not bad for an outing that wouldn't 'qualify' as RB1 stats.

And Ronnie brown just had a season ending injury on an 0-7 team. His future is anything but clear right now.

I am thinking about moving him and Andre Johnson for Steve Smith and Ahman. I am in a PPR and my team is already RB heavy with Bush, Westy and AP.

I'm holding on to him in my PPR league.

If it was a non-PPR league, I might look to move him.

Even then I would probably be reluctant unless I was overwhelmed.

Im holding, the guy is fresh, he looked GOOD, and Im not looking at it at the moment but arent his games during the playoffs good matchups?

That otta make the other owner happy. When healthy, AJ=Smith IMO, and Ahman is nothing more than KJ's waterboy.

In PPR leagues he was #6 last year when he played. With LJ and McGahee on bye I'm keeping him this week. Next week who knows?

Week 8 @ Chicago Week 9 Denver Week 10 @ Arizona Week 11 NY Giants Week 12 Green Bay Week 13 @ Minnesota Week 14 Dallas Week 15 @ San Diego Week 16 Kansas City

I would argue that you would not be trading him at a high point.. IMO, that has yet to come this season.
Here is the thought process of an owner who is trying to sell him.I am a KJ owner in a 12-team league along with MacGahee, Bush and Gore in a start 2 WR/2RBs with one flex.I have nothing at TE or QB because I waited too long in the draft. My WRs are TJHush, JGalloway, CalJohnson and Andre Davis. Here is the trade I proposed to the SJax/RBrown owner who is amazingly still in the hunt:K JonesJ GallowayDonald LeeforEliReggie WayneOwen DanielsI'm losing over all big time if KJ goes off like he can when healthy, but I feel like Eli is a solid week-to-week guy and I think Owen Daniels is currently decent with potential to be a stud. R Wayne is a huge upgrade and I don't really have a need for an extra back. That BEING SAID: this could be the single most guppy move I have ever made if KJ goes off as much as I think he can in that offense. Even if he only gets 15 touches a game, he'll still catch another 7-8 which is straight sick in PPR.

luckily for me I got him for free. Somehow in our 14 team league he was a FA. And I dropped RBrown to get him.

:lmao: - I bought low on him a couple of weeks ago for Donald Driver. The KJones owner needed WR help and he was set at RB with Reggie Bush and Ronnie Brown :lmao: Said owner has been riding Brady up through the ranks in our league and may be in need of a RB at this time to keep the pace up. I may wait a few weeks for KJones value to get even higher and then turn around and trade him back for a nice profit during wk 10 - 11.

in a keeper league and have been offered Holt and LT for KJ, Bush and Moss. Not sure if I should take this deal
Will you respond to mine if I respond to your's and leave a link?
Was that supposed to be funny? I answered the thread but didn't want to hijack it. If I had, you probably would have been all over me for doing that. If you don't want to offer an opinion on my trade offer, don't click on my link. plain and simple.

I am keeping him because in PPR leagues he is a top 10 player. However, the only reason to consider trading him is for injury concerns. However, most RBs are injury concerns and he has shown an ability to heal pretty well and to play with minor injuries.

I'm in a similar situation, KJ, LT, Bush and ADP. Also Graham and Leonard for bye weeks for now. I almost offered him straight for Gates, but I also have Heap and Olsen, figure KJ + Heap for Gates and a decent WR could work.I need an upgrade at WR3 now that Walker is out; AJ, Plaxico and Calvin / Roddy White doesn't quite cut it especially as AJ is out.

You can't sell this guy! How many main guys are there left?

I'm watching my guy Addai split carries tonight, the guy I thought was the closest thing to a sure thing! ADP had only 12 carries on Sunday. Yet here is Jones, finally healthy, getting almost all of the looks.

At this point, how many more valuable guys are there, now? You can't sell this guy!
