Kevin Jones (1 Viewer)

I have KJ and have very pleased with his performance this season. I also have Westbrook, Foster, DeAngelo, and Gore. I play in a 12 man ppr league so I had that all in mind when I selected and took chances on these players.

I only have 14 roster spots and its virtually impossible for me to have the backups to all my guys.

Is Brian Calhoun worth a roster spot as backup to KJ?? How good is he? I'm really thinking about grabbing Robinson to backup Gore but as I said space is so limited.
Bump. Can anyone answer my question here?

calhoun has been out there for like 3 plays and probably lost yards on all of themhe wont see the field full time even if kj dies

my guess is bryson would move from fb back to rb with calhoun taking some plays to give him a blow

BUY BUY BUY! Have any of you sat down and watched the Lions play football? All they do is feature Kevin Jones and Roy Williams. The more the Lions have the ball, the more Jones will be affective. The most important thing for the rest of the season is the SCHEDULE;

Minnesota; Id give Kevin 80 rushing yards and 0 TD's.

Buffalao; 90 yards and 2 TD's

NY Jets; Kevins first 100+ rushing performance of the season. He will also tack on a TD.

BYE

Falcons; 70 yards and a recieving TD

San Fransico; 100+ performance yet again

Arizona; 90 yard performance

Miami; 60 yard performance, 0 TD's--> bench him this week.

New England; 80 yards

Minnesota (Home); 72 yards

Green Bay; 100+ performance

Chicago; 38 yard perfomance, BENCH BENCH BENCH

Dallas; Irrelevant to fantasy

The only reason that Kevin Jones may not be valued so high in your fantasy league is if youre finals is in week 16. Kevin Jones will be facing the Bears, and will have to be benched. Acquire a good backup with a great matchup in week 16. KEEP KEVIN JONES. THE SCHEDULE DOESNT LIE.

I bought! And for the exact reason in "rockbottom's" post.

I gave up Ahman Green & Joe Horn for him.

Probably buying. Been offered KJ for JJ in a 14 team dynasty/salary cap. Their contracts are a wash and I already own Calhoun. Don't think I'll ever again have the opprotunity to get this kind of value for JJ.

That's good. Both those guys are in major decline. No worry that they aren't gonna pick it up later?

Jones, easily.Faster and stronger. The only edge for Taylor is a better OL.
CT is getting like 2.6 ypc. He's compiling decent games by getting 30 touches. Like Reuben Droughns last year, he's fine, but no world-beater.Jones played well against bad teams and poorly against good ones. Detroit has an easy schedule and a crazy coach in Martz, who loves getting the RB into the passing game.
I don't know what schedule you're looking at but CT has the much easier schedule here and better playoff matchups. I'm playing this game to win a championship and take down the money and not just get into the playoffs. I like your argument about CT's ypc (good info to consider) but I'll rely on his opportunities to continue. KJ doesn't have a good schedule but in the back of my mind I'm wondering if a difficult schedule is as important to a RB who catches a lot of passes and plays from behind. I don't look at Tiki's schedule because he's gonna get the ball via the pass when his team is behind. I wonder if this is a Tiki situation with KJ?

Thanks dude appreciate the response. Apparently their is a fine line on how questions are asked to get a response and of course I didn't mean to post my question inappropriately.I really respect the guys who realize this and are still willing to provide helpful feedback.

I have LT, Chester Taylor, and our man under the microscope, Kevin Jones. This is in a non-PPR league (12 tms). I'm wondering which of the latter two you would start in Week 5. Chester's starting to worry me, but like all the guys you can't trade him to, I don't really trust KJones. (Drafted him with the next-to-last pick in the 4th round.) Any thoughts? Thanks.

The same as the other guy, please use the assistant coach forum for specific questions on your own team.
