Key Players that missed practice Friday (1 Viewer)

Heap: no practice, GTD

Addai and Harrison missed Thursday practice and I think it's safe to assume they will miss today's as well. I think both are GTDs, with Harrison having a better chance to start.

Santana Moss did not practice.
Moss is listed as doubtful, but has not ruled out playing. From the Washington Post.
Santana did not practice and is listed as doubtful. He didn't rule himself out, but after not practicing all week and just running a few routes Gibbs did not sound like he would play. Said there is a chance Santana could take warmups Sunday and maybe sneak into the active roster, but it sounded remote.

WNDE Sports talk Indianapolis is reporting Addai did not practice. One of the guys discussing this said after the game last week Addai couldn't even pull up his own socks. He also said that he still expects Addai to play a bit (10-15 carries).

Boldin is out, Maroney plays for Bellichik
Any link to where it states Boldin is out??? I've seen that he has missed practice Wed + Thurs, and Whiz said if he doesnt practice today he wont play....but haven't heard any word yet.
i just pulled this off espn player notes:Boldin (hip) is expected to miss Sunday's game, according to the Arizona Republic.Spin: He hasn't practiced in almost two weeks and the Cardinals don't want to rush him back against an undermanned St. Louis team. Look for Bryant Johnson and Jerheme Urban to split time in Boldin's place.[breaking News] RotoWire | Thu, October 4

Santana Moss did not practice.
He did some running, including routes (not full speed, no pads, no defense) and said he feels good with what he did today. He keeps saying it's Gibbs call as to whether he plays or not, and Gibbs keeps saying it's Santana's call.Personally, I think he'll be a GTD, and if he ends up playing at all I have a feeling it will be sparingly. I'm hoping I'm wrong.James Thrash starts in place of Moss if Moss doesn't go Sunday.

Clayton just reported they were not on the practice field today,

Steve Smith got hurt in practice, but Fox said it wasn't serious.

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nf...y-roundup_N.htm

Fox said wide receiver Steve Smith injured his leg toward the end of Friday's practice, but added that he doesn't believe it is serious.

"It was one play and he was limited," Fox said. "But we think he's fine."

Talking to Carr, Smith walked back to the locker room without limping. Smith has six receptions for 42 yards in the past two games, but has five touchdown catches in his past four games against the Saints.

As a religious homer and Redskins Insider reader, I don't think theres any chance Moss plays---but for the purposes of this thread, none of his backups will provide much, if any, fantasy value. Randle El should be a serviceable play though, if you are desperate.

From Sportsline:

==================

Giants WR Plaxico Burress (ankle) didn't practice on Friday and is listed as questionable for Week 5 vs. the Jets. Burress didn't practice all week.

Any friday news on Moroney?
As I mentioned, someone I know that is involved with Pats told me again today that Maroney did not look very good today at practice and basically looked like he did a week ago. And we all know he was a GTD and did not suit up on Monday. He's again listed as questionable.Ahman Green was listed as out for this week (or better stated, the HOU paper is saying he won't play).

Did Henry practice today? This will answer a lot of the questions/speculation going around here.
KFFL reporting that:Broncos | Henry practices Friday

Fri, 5 Oct 2007 13:00:24 -0700

Bill Williamson, of The Denver Post, reports Denver Broncos RB Travis Henry (knee, ankle) participated in practice Friday, Oct. 5. Henry is day-to-day and may be available to play during Week 5.

http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nfl

Henry's situation is maddening. If he's good to go on Sunday, does Shanny play him anyway under the looming suspension? Henry plays in the late game Sunday, so if you own him (or Selvin) you may need to go with a more reliable option if your lineups need to be locked in by the morning games.

He'll still score this week.

That would be an annoying decision for Addai owners that want him to get healthy and those that would like to start Keith this week. I'd like to think that at this juncture in the season the Colts would either want Addai to be ready for a full load or getting healthy for next week.

Any news on Derrick Mason? With Walker and Ward out I a very thin at WR.
Crap....(Rotoworld) Derrick Mason (knee) missed all of Ravens practice for the second consecutive day Friday, and is listed as questionable for Week 5.Impact: Mason was previously dealing with a back problem and his now has a balky knee. The veteran was off to a hot start to the year and has a good matchup against San Francisco Sunday afternoon, but it's time to look into picking someone up if you were relying on him. Demetrius Williams is his backup.

As if I didn't have enough trouble filling my roster spots this week!! Are you kidding me!?!?!? What happened to Mason anyway? This one crept up on me.....BTW - all of these people who keep saying to "play another option" or "pick someone else up" obviously don't know the pain of having all injured studs and bye weeks.....ok, I'm done griping....
