Kitna vs TB (1 Viewer)

Is this matchup worrying anyone else? TB has a good pass defense (7th against QBs in my league) and we all know what happened the last time Kitna played a tough matchup (vs WAS). Could this be another dud?

mark me down as another kitna owner nervous about week 7.

im scouring the waivers now to find a fill-in, mostly b/c of how awful the whole team looked against the skins.

i am not hopeful although i hope i am wrong.

I'm just wondering what Calvin Johnsons outlook is for the rest of the season, he is supposed to play this week, correct ?

It easily could be another dud for us. But you have to think that with two weeks to prepare that the offense will be in better shape in general this week than they were against Washington. I am certainly not going to bench him for Campbell (for instance), he is still worth that little bit of risk.

Consider me worried, regardless.

Lions: Johnson practicing Tuesday 10/16, 9:47 AM CT Calvin Johnson was on the practice field and "worked pretty good" on Monday, head coach Rod Marinelli told Tuesday's Detroit Free Press. Johnson has been limited by a back injury. Our View: The bye week came at a good time for Johnson, who should play in Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. We'll continue to track him throughout the week just to be on the safe side. :goodposting: outlook ----average

I'm nervous, but Kurt Warner is my backup, so what the hell.

Having Johnson back and playing at home should help some. In theory.

I was just looking at this too...

I think Kitna gets another start on my team and will likely be a top 4-6 QB this week largely because the Lions are at home Despite how good TB's D has looked, they did play TEN (a bad offense) last week at home, and the week before that the Colts scored at will against them at the Dome. Without Harrison and Addai. I am not comparing DET and IND (before people jump down my throat).

Kitna: 25-34, 275, 2TD. Good for 4-6 range for QBs this week. Maybe even better if TB can score a few on DET.

I'm starting him because of the bye week. Mike Martz with two weeks to prepare for a D is an unfair advantage.
