I saw him play last night vs the Dolphins and he looked very good. He was so quick and strong and guys had trouble with him all night. I didn't see any other preseason games of his, so I was wondering if anyone noticed his play at all prior to the Miami game, or even if they saw any negative things during the Miami game.

I know he may not put up huge IDP numbers, I am more concerned with his performance in real life and the concensus on if he'll be back to dominating like he did before the injuries. Any articles on this around? Any reports out of Panthers camp on his outlook for the future. Lingering injury problems or limits put on him?

As a football fan who appreciates trench warfare, I really enjoyed watching him play and hope he can keep it up and even improve, he's still young. He's scary good at times, can he keep it up though?

I was relieved to see his solid play last night. I had seen reports that he reported to camp overweight and had struggled a bit. How much of his impressive performance last night was related to Ma'ake Kemoeatu taking up a bunch of space and Miami playing around with its OL remains to be seen. Also, the Panthers signed a pretty underrated Damione Lewis to rotate at tackle this year, so Jenkins should have fresh legs. As an aside, I thought Mike Rucker looked fairly active last night, too, although it didn't translate to the box score. A healthy trio of solid defensive tackles should give Rucker's value a bump.

In the past when jenkins was healthy, rucker put up solid IDP numbers. I'm targeting Rucker later in my drafts as a great turnaround player this year. Especially early on, when teams are concentrating more on Peppers.

Jenkins was solid in the first two preseason games, but he took it to another level vs Miami. It seemed like he busted into the backfield on every snap, and i'm being dead serious about that. Health is still a concern, but it looks like he could regain his form alot quicker than expected.

Kemo and Lewis are good additions and I believe they still have Karstens, so depth at DT is good.

It didn't really matter that Kemo was eating up space, because Jenkins was blowing by people right on the snap and swimming right past them. If they did get in his path he would stand them up and drive them back into the pocket. Jeno James use to play for Carolina so I'm sure he's played against Jenkins, but he honestly looked like he had no clue what this guy was capable of. I was surprised.

You're correct, it's not so much eating up space as commanding a double team. A healthy and motivated Jenkins is a load for a single offensive lineman.
