Denver & Atl are two of the more extreme cases of RBBC last year, yet the primary ball carrier still put up very good fantasy numbers. The difference is those teams' rb tandems have specific roles and are very different runners. In Houston, I don't see this clear separation where one player's style/build is very different from the other. What I do see happening is one player eventually distinguishing himself as the primary back, and the other will be used to spell him (maybe a little more than a usual split). The distinguishing factor will most likely be blocking/pass protection as both appear to be capable runners. The RBBC talk by Kubiac imo, is more due to the lack of a decision on who the primary ball carrier is. If DD can't get back to form, one of either Morency or Lundy could be a decent RB2 this year. That would be a steal at their current ADPs.wannabee said:Every team "rotates" 2 or 3 RBs through a game. Rarely does a starting RB get 70%+ of the team's carries. I see Kubiak as wanting to figure out a rhythm where he utilizes each guy's strengths the best.
