Since Lance Moore seems to have earned the WR2 position on one of the best passing teams on the league, how do you think he'll do in future years? There were a lot of factors which contributed to his success this year, including Colston, Shockey, and Bush all being hurt for periods of time.

I think that his production may be a little bit lower than this season, but not by much, so I went with about the same.

The problem in NO is that after Colston, who's the clear #1, there is a bunch of people sharing the leftovers. I even expect Meachem to have a larger role next season. Barring injury, none of the WRs after Colston have much value.

Actually after Colston is Bush. Bush doesn't share leftovers at all to me... if he's healthy he's a lock for 80+ receptions IMO.

Shockey's also going to catch ~70 balls based on his use when healthy this year.
When healthy? Since when has he gone through a season and stayed healthy. It's not really fair to compare Colston and Moore they're two completely different types of receivers, but I do think we've seen the re-emergence of Colston over the last couple of weeks and I have a hard time thinking Moore out produces Colston next year assuming they are both healthy. Plus Colston gives Brees a very nice end zone target so I expect him to see a lot more chances in the end zone than Moore.

I think Lance Moore is a free agent this offseason. Should be an interesting situation to watch play out.
(Rotoworld) Lance Moore caught eight passes for 91 yards and two touchdowns against the Panthers in Week 17.

Analysis: Moore has been limited to underneath routes since Marques Colston's mid-season return, but he was Brees' target of choice on two fourth quarter red zone possessions. Finishing with 79 catches for 928 yards and 10 touchdowns, Moore has emerged as a viable second fiddle to Colston in the Saints passing attack. The sharp route runner with sure hands is headed for restricted free agency, but the Saints will make it a priority to re-sign him this offseason.

He's a restricted free agent. I think his fantasy value would take a hit if he doesn't re-sign with the Saints.

Is Colston better than Moore? I think it is closer than you think.
Moore may run better routes, may be a little quicker in tight spaces, may have more suddenness than Colston, heck he may even have better hands but Colston is 6'4" and Moore is 5'9". Brees loves that huge target.Assuming both are healthy Colston>>>>>Moore.
