LandWhale and Flash Johnson ... ROFL (1 Viewer)

NFL-ons

I wish I knew how to find and link the post game interview with Bakesale White and Chris Flash Johnson.

It is so shocking that it is completely hilarious.

Almost as funny as Deion warning the KC fans to hide their churros as Fatdale scampers to the endzone on his 80 yd Td. Not that the fans with food really had anything to worry about since Blanco probably would have keeled over from a coronary if he took another step.

And I played LandWhale who obviously gave me a win this week!!

I love this game.

And oh yeah GO RAYS!!!

I saw it, too. Absolutely amazing to watch.

Kudos to Deion for calling out CJ3 for smacking his gum and generally making a fool of himself.

I thought Deion Sanders took a pretty big cheapshot at LBJ. Pretty classless and I lost a lot of respect for Sanders. You can tell he's jealous because LBJ is faster than he was.

Thumbs down for me. :wall: Stars in the league should be better dressed for post game pressers. These guys acted how they dressed - unprofessional. :lmao:

:wall: Very classless.. the gum smacking was horrible. Completely shows their immaturity and reflects poorly upon the organization. Something tells me they both got an earfull after that one.

Yeah, Deion was way out of line. :wall:If I were Jeff Fisher I don't think I'd want those two hanging out together.

Pretty bold for Deion to call him ignorant.......or anyone ignorant for that matter. Sanders might be the definition of ignorant.

I want to know why they seemed to both be swaying back and forth in unison.

Other than that, I don't see what the big deal was. Not too funny either. :goodposting:

:goodposting:I can't believe people are actually sticking up for Deion here. Maybe they're all fanboys, I don't know.Deion has no business calling anyone ignorant except himself based on his recent actions dealing with Pacman.

Deion is a changed man, seriously.Even though he did things way worse, I think he gets "it" now.

You know he was trying to keep him straight and clean. He even told him he should write a letter to the commissioner to thank him for reinstatement.

Anyone see the Live broadcast of the show? I guess they took it out because when I saw it Deion called them the Ying Yang Twins.

I was rolling

I completely understand that. And I have yet to hear Deion say a single negative thing about Pacman, a serial criminal, who he is "mentoring."Yet he verbally attacks Chris Johnson, who by all accounts is a model citizen.

Deion owes Chris Johnson an apology. If he is really a "changed man" then he should realize his attacks crossed the line, and he apologizes to LBJ.

AH I gotcha. I can't see the video so my comments were misdirected. I made a bad assumption

[doorbell rings]

Woman: Who is it?

LenDale White: Flowers.

Woman: From whom?

LenDale White: Plumber, ma'am.

Woman: I don't need a plumber. You're that clever Land Whale, aren't you?

LenDale White: Candygram.

Woman: Candygram, my foot! Get out of here before I call the proper authorities. You're the Land Whale and you know it!

LenDale White: I'm only a Dolphin Titan, ma'am...

Woman: Oh? Well, okay...

Honestly I don't think Deion owes anyone anything...his comments are no different from yours or mine or the people on this forum. It's his opinion and he is entitled to it that is what he gets paid for....Deion is no saint he should not have to curb his words anymore than anyone else does. He saw something he thought was classless and ignorant and called them on it. It doesn't matter if he hangs with a "criminal" or not he voiced his opinion and said what I and many others were thinking when they saw it. Not sure why he needs apologize for anything.

He owes an apology because Deion now looks like a hypocrite by calling Chris Johnson classless and ignorant, when Deion himself supports Pacman Jones.

The reason I think Deion owes LBJ an apology, is to perserve his own credibility. How dumb does Deion look right now? On a dumb scale of 1 - 10, I give Deion a solid 9.5. Deion has had nothing but good things to say about his boy Pacman, and has defended him. And up until now, I have had no issue with Deion mentoring/defending him, despite the fact that Pacman is the posterchild for players who are bad for the league image.

But now, Deion has the odacity to call out Chris Johnson, of all players, for his appearance? Are you ####ing kidding me? Deion won't say anything bad about pacman, yet he attacks LBJ for how he looks at his press conference. Unreal.

If Pacman was in the interview he would have said the same thing. Mentoring Pacman makes Deion ignorant? How is that exactly? Deion is well known to be a mentor to a lot of players in the league. I don't think him trying to mentor and get Pacman to change makes him a bad guy.In fact, I think it's funny that Deion has a bad rap at all. Besides getting arrested for trespassing while fishing (and making a rap album), what has he ever done wrong?

Exactly...

Here's what I know. Chris Johnson is likely going to get another multi-page thread in the Shark Pool for just standing (somewhat) upright and smacking his gum. He's already a legend.

:lmao: Mentoring pacman doesn't make Deion ignorant. Constantly defending and sticking up for pacman, and then verbally attacking Chris Johnson for his appearance makes Deion look ignorant and, even worse considering his current profession, hypocritical.

Additionally, when you factor in how Deion used to dress and appear when he was LBJ's age, Sanders comes off as a hypocritical buffoon of majestic proportions.

I hope my obtuse sense of humor has led to some of you receiving a chuckle from the clip. Thanks for finding it.

After watching it again, I now realize why the NFL does not allow players to take their helmets off on the field when the cameras might catch them and reveal to joe public the kind of people that we are routing for with our hearts and souls.

And you know what he grew up...and he knows he was "ignorant" when he did it and analyst's at the time made the same comments when he did it and deservedly so. His thing is making sure people don't do the same dumb and unprofessional things he did. His words hold a lot of weight with young players and that's his job now...he does not get paid to be PC he gets paid for his opinion and be entertaining while doing it. I do find his unwaivering support for pacman annoying but he likes the guy so he stands behind him...I don't know anything deeper about it but that does not exclude him from having an opinion.

Great athletes? So you're saying because they dress "ghetto" that we are just as bad as they are for rooting for them? Simply because they dress like that doesn't make them bad people. Sorry but I couldn't help but sense a little racism in that post.

"Verbally attacking"? Isn't that a bit dramatic? If you don't like Deion, fine. But he makes that NFL Network show, IMO.Deion made fun of both of them, and it was funny. They looked pretty silly up there. I'll also say that they are grown men, and should be able to dress how they want, and chew gum if they want. if they get made fun of, so be it. But "Unprofessional"? Who cares? They play a game, they aren't investment bankers.

Deion is very funny, he's the most fun of all the studio guys out there.

Anyone see his comment on the Reggie Bush injury? "Yeah, but he got a good nurse....."

I would be ashamed of myself for attending a press conference looking like a rap video reject. The NFL should follow the NBA's lead and require suits or a shirt and tie. This is not "thug life."

If you want to see something funny watch the "Behind the Glory" episode on Deion. The guy is the definition of a classless joke who should not be taken seriously by anyone. As ignorant as they come.

I remember when Warren Sapp played for the Bucs he received a couple of fines for taking his helmet off on the field. He complained about how the league was forcing them to keep their helmets on so in effect they would remain 'anonymous'. I have always enjoyed Sapp's character and agreed with him regarding this matter. I am also a fan of players expressing themselves, especially after scoring TDs, and have been down on the league cracking down on their celebrations. However, after seeing this display, I now understand why the NFL has tried to prevent these types of things.

Oh, give me a break. If Deion was really concerned with LBJ not making the same mistakes he did as you claim, he would of contacted him off the air, instead of attacking him during the broadcast. You make Deion sound like my buddy who was complaining about kids destroying mailboxes in his neighborhood, despite the fact that he regularly played mailbox baseball when he was in highschool.

I think the lesson to be learned here is that Deion made a big mistake trying to mentor Pacman. By doing so he really hamstrung himself as to what he can and cannot say without looking like an idiotic hypocrite like he did last night.

Imagine if Chris Carter "mentored" Troy Williamson on how to catch a football. Imagine that Carter's "mentoring" of Williamson was a complete failure. Now, imagine that Carter defended Williamson's catching ability to everyone, without ever saying anything negative about him. Finally, imagine Carter commenting on the Cowboy's game yesterday and lambasting Terrell Owens for sort of alligator arming that one throw to him. There's no doubt that if this scenario played out just as I've written, Carter would look like a complete buffoon, which is what Deion looks like right now.

Oh, give me a break. If Deion was really concerned with LBJ not making the same mistakes he did as you claim, he would of contacted him off the air, instead of attacking him during the broadcast. You make Deion sound like my buddy who was complaining about kids destroying mailboxes in his neighborhood, despite the fact that he regularly played mailbox baseball when he was in highschool.I think the lesson to be learned here is that Deion made a big mistake trying to mentor Pacman.
Wait......wat?You're starting to sound like your username.

Pretty bold for Deion to call him ignorant.......or anyone ignorant for that matter. Sanders might be the definition of ignorant.
 I can't believe people are actually sticking up for Deion here. Maybe they're all fanboys, I don't know.

Deion has no business calling anyone ignorant except himself based on his recent actions dealing with Pacman.
You know he was trying to keep him straight and clean. He even told him he should write a letter to the commissioner to thank him for reinstatement.

 Mentoring pacman doesn't make Deion ignorant.

And you know what he grew up...and he knows he was "ignorant" when he did it and analyst's at the time made the same comments when he did it and deservedly so. His thing is making sure people don't do the same dumb and unprofessional things he did.

You keep saying attacking when to most took it as cracking on Lendale's/CJ's ridiculous interview. You really should not get so worked up about the opinion of Deion Sanders. I never said he was directly concerned with either player in question I only said his thing making sure people don't do the same things he did and his words have weight. So his jokes at their expense im sorry "attacks" may carry over it may not. But you are getttin way to riled up about all this imo.

They should dress better? I expected to see or hear something outrageous. All that was said is that they need to get better, which is exactly what you want to hear from your players. You guys are ridiculous, what a waste of time.
