Last week Portis, this week AD (1 Viewer)

Last week Gibbs leaves his BEST playmaker and proven touchdown machine Portis on the sideline while the Redskins fail to score. :blackdot:

This week AD the ONLY real playmaker the Vikings have and Childress basically shuts him down in the 2nd half.

I understand we in the FF world look at the games in a different prospective, but this makes no sense from any viewpoint. What the heck is going on?

portis would've been in the game if he hadn't fumbled the ball on the previous drive that led to the giant's game winning score... and that's besides the point...

the skins' debacle at the end of last weeks game should be blamed on the playcalling and campbell's inexperience... they ran the same play twice and campbell panicked in crunch time hurrying the offense to the line when he could've taken his time... i agree that portis is probably better at the goal line, but i think the result would've been the same considering the circumstances

That fumble was not on the previous drive and Portis was in the drive after he fumbled.

oops, strike the first line then... thanks for the correction

Look on the bright side. Both of those teams limited their star rb's carries and they lost the game. So clearly what they did was ineffective. Logically any game plan will have them more heavily involved so said mistakes aren't made again.

It's been ADP every week but week 1!

Ironic that week 1 was the only week the Vikings got a win, eh?

I dont see the big deal, Childress must have figured if you take away Peterson's 1 big play he was only averaging 5ypc

:ninja:

I disn't see the game but 2 carries in the 3rd and 0 in the 4th

not good

Some guy named Tomlinson was MIA in the second half also due to coaching genius.
Which is exactly what fans calling for Marty's head were complaining about with Marty vs the Pats. Dude runs for over 120 or so in the first half and you want to nurse a lead, wtf do you do? It's football 101. Let LT run until his legs fall off.At the end of the season (or HIS season, which may be shorter) you're going to have a new sig worthy quote from him.
