Late late stat change affecting playoffs (1 Viewer)

Week 15 playoff semifinal, teamA scored 117, teamB scored 117. Yahoo said TeamA advanced because of tiebreaker.

Tues.. Wed... Thursday rolls around and I wait for the stat corrections to go out, saw them go out and their game was still tied 117-117 and TeamA was still shown as advanced to the week 16 championship.

Even during and after the PIT-CAR Thursday night game, TeamA was shown on Yahoo and statracker in the championship because he had Mendenhall playing and we were watching the score updates.

Friday morning comes and his week 15 score was changed to 116, and he's now in the 3rd place game. YIKES. I've never seen a score changed so late before. I emailed Yahoo to try to get an explanation. We're not sure which player the point was deducted from, unfortunately I don't have a screenshot of the original 117 score. Yahoo's stat corrections don't refer to any of his players.

Anyone see something like this this week that has any of these players?

QB Eli Manning 33

WR Brandon Marshall 14

WR Derrick Mason 4

RB LeSean McCoy 7

RB Felix Jones 11

TE Greg Olsen 2

W/R/T Rashard Mendenhall 15

K Sebastian Janikowski 15

DEF New England 15

Total 116

It's Mendenhall. He was credited by the NFL with 99 yards last week instead of the original 100. Yahoo has done a poor job of notifying players, unlike ESPN.

See this thread: 99 instead of 100

HOLY ####!Thanks for the info, I'll head over to that thread. Yahoo didn't even update their own boxscore, but it's updated on nfl.com.

Mendenhall 17 att, 100 yds, 1 td

Mendenhall 17 att, 99 yds, 1 td

Perfect example of why I stopped using Yahoo years ago. Hands down one of the worst sites there is in my opinion.

Perfect example of why to use decimal scoring. What is the justification of playing integers only?!
:goodposting: Even worse, I remember playing in leagues back in the day when you got bonuses for 100 yards rushing/receiving and 300 yards passing. I always hated that. Decimal scoring without the extra noise is so much better.
