League Disaster - looking for input (2 Viewers)

what the problem with pryor/thomas for kaep/white? these are the exact types of trades that folks get worked up over and get proven wrong as the season goes. nothing wrong with the trade. Everyone liking the Kaep/White side is based on expectations, truth is Kaep is struggling, sophomore slump, White is hurt, suffered a setback may not ne 100% all year

"Experts" are talking up PT a lot lately, the rookie probably bought into this and panicked on White.

let the trades stand. The rookie will have the last laugh if it turns his way, and it could. The Graham trade sucked and makes no sence but thats how it goes some times

A new owner (a rookie) is brought into a league that has a lot of experienced players, some of whom have been playing in the same league together for close to twenty years.

Non-PPR standard scoring, redraft, 12 teams, money league, QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, K, TD.

Trade 1: rookie (who owns Ray Rice) trades Graham and Kendall Hunter for Bernard Pierce and Eric Decker middle of last week. Graham owner also has Brees. The league ridicules rookie owner and is in a mild uproar over trade, but we don't have majority veto and our rule is no veto unless collusion is involved.

Trade 2 happened tonight: rookie trades Colin Kaepernick and Roddy White for Terrelle Pryor and Pierre Thomas. Rookie does have Phillip Rivers, but also has Ray Rice, Pierce, Woodhead, BJGE. This trade was not with the same owner as the above trade.

The league is in an absolute uproar right now. Lots of collusion accusations with this second trade (the other owner brought rookie in and is a good friend). Talking about locking the rookies roster or replacing him mid season and reverting both trades.

Any ideas from anyone? Reverse the second trade (we feel it was either collusion or the rookie owner quitting) and lock the rookies roster? Reverse both and bring in a new owner (we have one lined up)? Leave as is?
2 TDs and counting for Pierre Thomas. I doubt he started him, but nonetheless it looks like the new owner that you stumbled on is a savant.

One moment it's kick 'em out for stupidity.

The next moment- it's kick 'em out for vodoo soothsaying

Seriously, I'm done in here. I am not going to get stuck in one of the petty back and forth meaningless arguments that I see in the Shark Pool constantly. I come in here to gather and consider insight on football, and less often, to offer what insights I might have.
Good idea to pull the ripcord here since your plane is going down in flames. Not sure I'm interested in whatever insights you might offer in the future. You and your fellow owners seem like real jerks.

He may be looking at the stats so far and basing his opinions on that. In my leagues Pryor and Thomas have scored 125.4 while Kap an White have scored 84.3 so far. Doesn't explain the other trade though. I don't think this is a case of collusion. That would be the only way you should kick someone out of the league mid-season, imo.

He might also be watching the games. Pryor is legit

So far looking good for the rookie. But it is only one week. Probably Pierre Thomas' best game and he was on the bench.

You asked for it.

To be fair regarding Kaep/Roddy v. Pryor/Thomas, it's been all year, not just one week. But, don't let that stop you guys from coming on here and telling us about your league drama.

update please
:goodposting: Funny how things turn out. Pierre's yet to be held under 80 total yards (4 TD's in 5 games) since Oct 2 and we're still waiting for Roddy to surpass 45 yards in a game this season, 6 weeks later...

Some managers can't handle having trading & wish to manage other teams. League owner voting on deals is the single dumbest thing in fantasy football.

Was fairly obvious from the start you wanted to pound the point rookie vs. veteran owner.....

Fold the league, give the rookie the league championship & let him join a better league not filled with a group of nitwits.

And please never post a league ad in Looking for Leagues for the sake of all FBGs. TIA

Cecil - the rookie has the least points and worst record, so lets not crown him. He started Thomas once (9 FP). Hindsight, yes, the trade was insignificant.

Clearly his start/sit decisions should be vetoed for league integrity. Why should he pull off a masterful trade, let the points waste on the bench, and give some people (but not others) easy wins?

new week, new update

Using my league scoring, here is the value of these players from the subscriber top 200 listKapernick - 5.7 (cold garbage)

Roddy White - 2 (hot garbage)

Pryor - 1 (dumpster fire)

Pierre Thomas - 19.4 (2.5 times the value of the players he gave up)

Definitely should have reversed trade, locked rookie's roster, replaced him as owner, and divided the spoils amongst yourselves!

I have no issues with either trade. No disaster at all! I have seen many trades that looked real good for team 'A' but as the year went on, team 'B' ended up getting the better end of the deal.

Nothing worse than playing in a league with a bunch of owners who think they have it all figured out.
Yes. Pierre Thomas is going to be the answer...

That Pierre Thomas really sucks!
42 yards at half. Amazing. And on the bench again this week.

Everyone in our league moved on from this 6 weeks ago....

It just turned into 60 yards. The guy started Woodhead instead of PT against me this week. We'll see.
